THAILAND ประเทศไทย \\ BANGKOK: FOOD TOURS & FUN TIMES // VLOG #34

ประเทศไทย "One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster..." Here we are in the iconic city of Bangkok Thailand. Greg happily accepted our invitation to continue travelling along with us for a bit before he jets away to some other amazing location. After enjoying some fresh Mango juice at Greg's posh hotel on the river in Bangkok, we head over to our not-posh-but-still-awesome hostel. The Urban Hostel Bangkok does not disappoint and serves as a great launch pad for us to explore Bangkok. We take a ride on the famous Bangkok water taxis, visit Wat Po and Wat Arun, enjoy a great lunch on the river in the Amulet Market, wander the streets a bit, introduce Kate to her first genuine Thai Coffee, then something really special. We booked the Tuk Tuk Food Tour though Expique Food Tours and while it's a bit pricey, it's worth it. We had such an amazing evening whipping all over Bangkok to out of the way eateries and food carts that we never would have found or eaten at otherwise. Our local guide, "Bee", was just amazing and filled our brains with information on Thai culture while filling our bellies with some much incredible food that walking home would have been a challenge...thankfully they dropped us off right at our hostel! "The bars are temples but the pearls ain't free"
