We surprised our family with this new fun Holiday tradition! - Our cousins are staying with us for a week and came all the way here from California - So many fun adventures planned for the week!
We are a FUN and ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional and mentor in her company.
Together we have 5 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
I'm so bad at vlogging now.
I'm so rusty.
Me too.
I don't know what to do.
Good morning.
We are at the gym.
Gym jam.
Gym jam with the Slim Slam.
We're here with our uncle and our cousins.
And we're going to get a good workout.
Ezra's going to daycare.
I don't know if I should say that.
Ezra's just going to hang out with us too.
He's going to lift some weights.
Babe, what are you thinking?
I'm not laughing at how they cook it.
I'm laughing at what's about to happen.
Are you OK?
You feel sick?
Oh, no.
And he went into the bathroom and puked.
He threw up?
Oh, no.
You guys, did all of you throw up?
No, just these two.
Did you?
Dave, you threw up too?
Yeah, it finally got to me.
Well, of course, if Laird throws up,
then you're bound to throw up.
Well, yeah.
That's exactly right.
Oh, dang.
We just smashed a killer workout with the Portises.
Oh, Dave.
You guys, we almost had three people throw up today.
But Dave dry heaved.
Laird threw up.
How'd you feel, Laird?
My face is itching, and I'm like, that doesn't feel good.
And I just farted.
Dave.
Laird, you just puked all over Laird's shoes, dude.
He smells little Caesar's pizza.
Dude, you wuss.
Oh, I hate the smell of food after I puked.
And I always wondered where Laird got puking from, dude.
Fortunately, I didn't get that.
Now we got skinny old Russ trying to puke, dude.
Come on, bro.
Dave, come on, bro.
Russ, do you want to change his diaper?
Do it.
Stop.
Is it Thanksgiving?
Oh, you're making Dave throw up now.
I don't even know what to think right now.
Look out, there's a car.
Oh my gosh.
We got everybody puking in the parking lot.
My uncle, my cousins, Russ.
America, baby.
Dude, we just made a scene here in the parking lot at Vasa.
Puking, puking all over the place.
Is it Vasa?
I think it's Vasa.
I heard it's Vasa.
Yeah, well, the cool people say Vasa.
The owner told me it was Vasa.
Really?
Yeah, it's buffet.
OK, well, we're going to have a real fun time tonight.
We are taking my family to a fun adventure.
There's going to be 30 of us going.
30?
You'll see what's up, what we're going to do.
I don't need to explain it, because you'll see it later
today.
But we got our workout in, so we can have guilt-free pizza
tonight, is really the reason that we were here for so long.
Who's excited?
Are you excited?
Seatbelt.
OK, so we are getting everything ready for tonight.
We're so excited.
We rented out this super cute miniature movie theater
down 25th Street in Ogden.
So it is just so cute.
But it sits like 30 people.
And you get to bring a movie.
So whatever movie you want.
So we're bringing a Christmas movie.
And then we're bringing pizza.
And then you can buy drinks and popcorn.
Well, the popcorn is actually included in the rental.
But you can buy candy and sodas.
And they're just like a buck or something.
So anyway, we're really excited.
This is going to be super fun.
And this is going to be like a new tradition as of this year
that we're going to start doing.
OK, so last time my cousins came here for Thanksgiving,
it literally snowed like six feet on Thanksgiving.
And now it's like almost 70.
So it's kind of been weird.
And they're like out playing football.
They're like, this is so not Utah weather.
We were thinking it was going to be like winter and snowing.
So they brought all their snow clothes.
And Utah totally failed them, right?
So Thomas, what are you doing?
Hey, Chico, what do you want to watch?
I don't think you're getting it.
I don't know.
I don't even know what's going on right now.
We're going to go watch a Christmas movie.
I think, well, actually, we rented Elf.
So that's what you're going to have to watch.
Have to watch?
Yeah, I think I'll have to watch that.
OK, good.
That's what we're going to watch.
Stay tuned.
I have, wait, let me turn on the light.
There we go.
I have Talia and Chico and Laird.
What's up?
OK, I've never in my life waited 30 minutes in line
outside of Pizza Little Caesars.
Little Caesars.
30 minutes long.
And I already ordered my dang pizza like five hours
in advance.
So just note to self, don't go get pizza the day
before Thanksgiving.
Even if you order it, it's the busiest day for pizza.
I don't know if you knew that.
We're almost there.
And we're so excited.
We got a crew.
OK, I think everybody's here.
So I think this is like 30-ish people.
But it's going to be fun.
Found you, Daddy.
Guess what?
I love you.
OK.
Did everyone have fun?
Woo!
Why are you cute up there?
Wait.
Oh my gosh, dad normal.
That's literally, he's 6'5".
So there he is, way up there.
Hey.
Sorry, I didn't see you down there.
We're on our search for Christmas Oreos.
To aisle 4 from aisle 20.
Aisle, yeah.
What?
How does that work at all?
Aisle 4.
Oh, here they are.
Can I get two of them?
You get one?
You hold one, and Simon, you can hold one.
OK.
Are you guys so excited?
You guys, if you, I swear, if you eat those all tonight, I will be so mad.
OK, these need to last at least a whole night.
When we came, there were like three that were eaten.
And by like Tuesday, they were gone.
Yeah, they're all gone.
Good job.
This is two for five.
You want to give Santa $100?
I'm coming over on Christmas then.
$20.
You're going to give Santa $20?
$22.
$22?
Honey, that's pretty nice of you.
Cohen, Cohen, are you going to give Santa $20 or $100?
$100.
And Simon's going to get him $20.
Well, I think that.
So we can get Santa toys.
Oh, you're going to give him money so you can get more toys?
Yeah.
That makes a lot of sense.
I can smell you.
Where are you?
I can smell you getting off the elevator.
This has been a very fun and adventurous day.
Don't you think?
Ezra, holler for a dollar.
He hollered.
Where's his dollar?
Ezra, say hi.
Ooh, Diet Dr. Pepper.
Wine is good, but whiskey's better.
But as for me, we're going to stick to the Diet Dr. Pepper.
There you go.
Okay, guys, well, happy Thanksgiving,
because by the time you're watching this,
it is Thanksgiving.
But our family, we're rebels around here.
We don't do Thanksgiving on Thursday.
We wait till Friday.
We've always done that.
I don't know if this is so weird.
Okay, we're going to get a little personal here.
Okay.
Technically, her family celebrates the day after Thanksgiving.
Mine still celebrates on Thanksgiving.
But this is so weird.
I don't know if I got cut out of a group text
or someone's mad at me and my family,
but no one's having Thanksgiving.
Like, no one's even talked about it.
Is that weird?
I know.
So I don't know what your family is going to be doing.
I don't know.
Like, no one's texted me.
No one's put me in a group message.
No one's like.
I mean, this will be the first year
we haven't celebrated Thanksgiving.
And there's 300.
He's sad about it.
Oh, he's really sad.
There's 350 of us, you guys.
I mean, I don't know.
That's crazy.
Weird.
So, yes.
So our family's always done it on Friday.
For the reason that,
that way,
we can go to both families
and then nobody misses.
So, like, everyone that goes to, like,
spouse's families tomorrow
gets to be with us on Friday.
So Friday's going to be our Thanksgiving.
Grab some more wood rest.
We'll holla atcha dolla on Friday.
Or we'll see you Saturday.
On Thanksgiving.
See you manana.
Bye!
