While waiting to board our overnight train to Bangkok we wander around the Surat Thani Thailand and do some exploring. We arrive in Bangkok rested and ready see even more of this cultural gem that is Bangkok Thailand. We use a Grab car to get from the station to the hotel as Uber merged with Grab in this part of the world. After a short and sweet ride we check into another awesome Thai Hotel. The service and quality here is really top notch. We waste little time in getting out to explore the area including the famous...or perhaps infamous...Khao San Road. We dive head first into amazing food from both restaurants and street vendors and even sample some of the tourist specials like scorpion on a stick. No day in Bangkok is complete without at least one Thai Iced Coffee, and the more skilled and theatrical the pour the better! And of course we have to get some awesome Thai foot massages! After even more food, we go to the exciting Rajadamnern Stadium to watch some outstanding Muay Thai fights and we definitely get our moneys worth this time. Great fights on almost every card. Later, while strolling around MBK Center, an Italian lady notices my Oregon Ducks shirt and excitedly informs me her sister play Basketball for the University of Oregon Fighting Ducks! Small world and GO DUCKS! The folks head back to the states while we board another super amazing Emirates A380 enroute to our next adventure in Hong Kong!
