I built this miter saw table (including work surfaces and storage space) in a new shop area. The table accommodates my larger miter saw well, while still providing multiple functions. (The Honest Carpenter)

The miter saw table surface is 32" deep. There is a dust port in the miter saw depression to bring a shop vac hose through.

The lowest ground storage of the miter saw table is designed to hold three larger storage tubs side by side.

I constructed the miter saw table out of 2x4s, 1/2 pine plywood, and 3" exterior-grade screws, and some 1-5/8" screws.

Instead of having legs at the back, I attached cleats to the back and right-side walls. These cleat carry the load in those areas, and are firmly secured to framing in the walls.
