Real Madrid is still too great for "The Big Six" of the Premier League

What better opponents to face in one of the heavyweights of world football in Real Madrid. Real have given the ball away a lot in the opening seven and a half minutes. Xhaka pushes it out, here's Alexandre Lacazette, oh lovely footwork! And cleared on the line by Real. The referee has spotted something though. Navas makes himself big. And Lacazette squeezes the ball. Oh, this is a right smile from Navas. A slight touch of relief on the part of Lacazette. Touched by Lacazette, sets Aubameyang away, he goes around Navas. Arsenal strike again, this time from open play. This is exactly what you want to see from your two star frontmen. The combination play, exquisite. This former team mate recovers. Lovely ball into Isco, laid off. Asensio, Martinez can't hold it. And it's prodded in by Gareth Bale. Russell too, makes his deliberation. Look at this, unmarked. Nobody goes with Isco here, lovely footwork. Asensio to Marcelo again, they're looking for an equaliser. Asensio! And they get it. Two goals in less than three minutes brings Real Madrid level. What a difference Marco Asensio has made to this game. Here he is involved in the build-up, he's the one that plays it. There is the final whistle from referee Ford. It means that we're heading for a penalty shoot-out. Both of these sides have been so impressive and free-scoring. Kroos sends it forward here towards Benzema. He's got the option to Marcelo. Oh no! Oh my word! What a way to go behind in the Champions League final. Let's have a look. Van Dijk and Lovren up from the back and it goes towards Lovren. It gets up high and it's in! It's Mane! And Liverpool are level. And the stadium in Kiev explodes into a sea of red. The perfect response from Liverpool. There is Marcelo. Three in the box waiting for the cross and it was Bale! What about that? What about that from Gareth Bale? Off the bench with a fabulous finish. Real Madrid 2, Liverpool 1. A classic Champions League final goal from... Chan's got to bring some new energy. Oh, there's a shot. Oh, he's dropped it! It's Gareth Bale again and it's a howler from Karius. And they are still very much the kings of European football. Clearly on the side. Good first touch just prods it goalwards. Clearly over the line for Real Madrid's second. Isco's corner. Pipi! Isco with the outswinging corner. Could have been Ramos as well. The handball against Ramos. The referee's given it. Penalty for Manchester City. Does it happen inside or out? That's the key question. Yaya Toure against Keiron Alas. Scores comfortably. Give Manchester City and Manuel Pellegrini something at least to chew on at half-time. Isco. Excellent cross. And a goal for Cheryshev. Miguel Cluchet has to do better. Cheryshev obliges with a tackle at the far post. And I'd now like to welcome also Cristiano Ronaldo to accept the trophy on behalf of Real Madrid. One of the stellar clashes in the International Champions Cup. Real Madrid against Chelsea. By Traore. It's Marcelo now for Real Madrid. Waiting for the shooting chance. Shot full advantage of it. It's quite significant deflection as well. He's always a little bit lucky. Cuts inside. He's always going to unleash the attempt at goal. Comes off of Oscar. Deceives the goalkeeper. Degovic. Here's Marcin for a second. And he's got it. He's given the ball away there. Not necessarily losing the possession. And Marcelo makes him pay. He can't stop Marcelo. Marcelo. Back from Morata. That's an ambitious effort. And a stunning goal. Oh my goodness. Covacic, Asensio. The ball is being moved around really well. Marcelo involved. Little given guy. But what a stunning strike. It's easily the best player in the Premier League. The season that Chelsea... Delation for Chelsea. Here comes the offside trap. Finishes. Cross clutches. Cahill. Feet from the centre-back. That's Shuai. Here's a possibility. Lazard. He'd given up on it for a moment. But he gets his reward for staying with it. Another chance. Doesn't waste the opportunity. Tap man the goalkeeper. And finishes it off. Trying to close him down. It's fed through to Gareth Bale. Sideways to Isco. Low centre of gravity. He's a nice looking ball. Superb ball. Yes, Spurs should be doing better when it comes in here. That's right, Gary. Let's go on his left. And it goes all the way through. Michael Vaughan. Sticks deep. As it goes down the middle.
