We hope ALL of you fathers out there had the best fathers day ever! We had a really relaxing day spent with lots of family. Definitely a Fathers Day we'll never forget!
We are an ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional.
Together we have 6 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby (and 4th son) Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
I have never received a gift that's cooler than that.
Aww.
We are finally painting the back deck today.
I am so dang excited to see it be any other color
besides this weird orange, burnt orange color.
This is gonna be my project
while Thomas is out running some errands.
I wanna just try a magic trick and see if this works.
Voila.
All right, this was the biggest
frickin' pain in the butt today.
Ugh.
If I could go back, I probably wouldn't have painted it,
to be honest, but it does look better.
It does look better, I will admit.
And I also like the way those two colors go together.
This is a lot lighter.
That's more of like a brownish gray.
It doesn't really look like it in the camera,
but in real life, it does look really nice
next to this color.
It's Father's Day morning, and poor Thomas.
He's sick, like really sick, so I don't know.
I'm pretty sure he has what the boy's at.
Last night, he sort of felt so sick.
This morning, he feels just as crappy, so.
This is him on Father's Day, poor guy.
I love you, babe.
I wish I could just be here all day with you
and take care of you.
Polio.
Marco Polo.
I've got Marco Polo.
So, I would stay here with him,
but I have to teach a class today at church,
so I'm like, I gotta go.
We have Ezra down for a nap,
and I'm just gonna take the boys.
So I'm gonna come with me.
But yeah, I'm sorry.
I'll be back in two hours, baby.
You have fun.
Oh, have a good nap.
And he's watching Fred Claus,
because that's what we do in this house.
We like Christmas.
Okay, bye, honey.
Happy Father's Day!
How tall is Dad?
502 inches.
How much does Daddy weigh?
Oh, 50.
$50.
What's your favorite thing to do with Daddy?
Oh, my favorite thing?
Playing games.
What's your favorite book to read with Dad?
Oh, the Bears and Saints.
The Bears and Saints?
Me, too.
You, too.
Yeah, yeah, because it's kind of me.
What does Daddy do for work?
Yeah.
Do you guys ever watch Daddy fight?
No, I always forget.
Does it scare you?
What does Daddy look like?
Oh, Daddy looks like a guy with a bear.
He looks like Thomas the Trainer.
What color are Dad's eyes?
White.
Yeah, white.
Yeah, it's white.
What color is Dad's hair?
Brown.
I love you and space and back.
I love you and space and back, Dad.
I love you, Dad.
Happy Father's Day!
Go give it to him.
Oh, look at that.
From Daddy, from Cole.
Whoa!
And Daddy, here you go.
Oh, and Simon.
Cole, I like that you got out that side of the box
and put your butt in there.
Instead of the collar.
Babe, how are you feeling?
Simon, I love you.
Dad, look, I have a candy in my teeth.
You love me cow tails?
That's so nice of you, bud.
Give me a hug.
Go give Daddy a big hug.
Oh, you're still sick.
Yeah, just a little bit.
How are you feeling, babe, for real?
I feel okay.
You feel better?
Like a little bit?
I don't have a fever right now, no.
Let me see.
Oh, you're sweating.
Ew, babe.
Ew, you're dripping sweat.
I've been working.
Did he like his nap?
Yeah, he liked his nap.
He sure did.
Babe, I love this.
So much better.
Wow, it looks so much better.
All right, open the computer.
What could it be?
Okay, we should play.
Oh, you didn't, dude.
Happy Father's Day.
How tall is Dad?
How much does Daddy weigh?
Do you guys ever watch Daddy fight?
Does it scare you?
I look for Daddy's dad.
What color are Daddy's dad?
Thomas McGregor.
I have never received a gift that's cooler than that.
Aw.
Like, good questions.
Thank you so much, Corbin.
Give me a big kiss.
Thank you.
You have some on the back of your back.
He has some hair on his back now.
We got some people outside playing.
There's Eris and Journey.
Oh, he's poking everybody's hair out.
Simon, where are you going, boy?
Okay, let's go outside and see who's outside.
So, this is the first time Ashley's family's
been to our house on the Barker side.
So, these are, what's your last name, Eris?
Eris.
The Browns and the Porters and the Hugheses.
Let's go see if any kids are out.
It's actually, like, raining
and I don't know why it's raining.
Because the sun's supposed to be out.
How old are you, Eris?
Four!
What do you think?
What do I think?
Okay, let's go check inside.
About to come, and he was up in the sky.
And he flew.
And I thought, he can't even fly.
Maybe only to my thoughts of people.
Wait, you saw it the same year?
No, I'm sure, because I'm 12 years older.
So, we were in the, the four of us in that room,
and it was big.
And then the boys were over in a little box,
and then down the stairs,
they were our unselfish parents,
who should have taken better.
They slept under the stairs.
Really?
Like Harry Potter?
No.
Oh!
Yes, like Harry Potter.
Our brains are different, so.
I know.
So, the balcony, the stairs, came right to us.
Oh, you came from, you came from the house.
We walked through it, but I don't remember.
And I would have pointed it out,
but you would not have remembered.
Oh, yeah, where you could put shoes,
because Mom would go with the blacks.
Tess, Maureen, and Uncle Marvin's,
and you could hear them.
You'd just do this, and you could hear.
Oh, you don't really, you never did that.
I never, uh-uh.
Oh, yeah, we did that.
All of our family just left, and I'm so sad.
I love having family over here.
Like, we had such a good time,
and there was like 30 people here at dinner tonight.
Do you hear that thunder, guys?
Do you guys hear that thunder?
And it's like raining and thundering,
and it's just so, I love today.
It's been so fun.
I don't know if we even filmed much,
so sorry if this is a short vlog,
but I feel like when family's here,
it's hard for me to pull out the camera,
because we're just so invested in conversation.
Vested?
And especially when we don't see them very often,
which is crazy.
They live in the same city we do.
We just don't get together very often,
but that's gonna change.
I know we're gonna do a lot of things
with them this summer.
Hey, did you like having your cousins here?
Obviously, I didn't grow up with twins.
I didn't grow up as a twin,
but I feel like if you were twins,
it would be so cool to be friends with other twins.
I agree.
Especially if you were related to them.
Yeah, so we have cousins,
like their cousins that were here today are twins.
They're not identical, but they are like,
they're eight, and they're like two feet taller than them,
huh?
It's crazy.
Their names are Maddox and Crew,
which, by the way,
like when, because I'd been dating Ashley
when those guys were born.
Uh-huh.
Look at my feet.
Oh, you're crazy.
Whoa, Coen, what the heck?
So while we were dating,
those two were born, Maddox and Crew,
and like two of my favorite skateboarding brands
growing up,
because I've always been a diehard skateboarder.
I don't know if you guys know that.
It's just my roots, all right?
When I heard their names were Maddox and Crew,
I was like, wait,
those are the two cool skateboarding brands around.
Oh yeah, he was so jelly.
Are you kidding me?
I was so jealous they took those two names.
Yeah, and then what do you know?
We popped out a pair of twins,
but we couldn't use those names,
so we just came up with Simon and Coen.
I actually really wanted to use the name Holden.
Yeah, that was another one.
Because that was a snowboarding brand I liked.
Holden Hughes.
But then I saw a bunch of people name their kids Holden.
Yeah, we did.
It was like pretty popular six years ago.
So I actually came up with Milo's name.
I came up with Simon's name,
and then I came up with Simon's middle name,
and I came up with Milo's first name.
Ashley did Coen,
Coen's middle name,
and then Milo's middle name.
And Ezra.
And Ashley came up with Ezra.
Oh yeah, I'm yawning.
First and middle name, actually.
But I came up with Milo's name
because of a snowboarding shop in Salt Lake City
called Milo Sports,
where I came up with it.
I don't even think I knew that.
I just learned something new today.
Yeah, I did, I guess.
By the way, I'm feeling so much better, you guys.
You are, by the way, you are feeling a lot better.
Listen, you pop a couple aspirin,
and then when the fever starts coming back.
Daddy, my head is bigger than your head.
That is not a good thing.
That would be really hard to be.
Your head is bigger, my head is bigger than yours.
What are you talking, hold on a second.
Time out.
All right, hold on, let me finish this.
Listen, when you start to feel the fever come back,
you pop a few, dude, your head ain't even close to it.
I keep getting distracted.
When you pop a few aspirin,
and then you feel the fever come back,
you just pop a few more, you straight.
You straight, dog.
And your head is not even close to as big as mine.
Why am I arguing that with a little kid?
Get out of here.
I'll see you guys tomorrow.
Wait, did you say bye or tomorrow?
Tomorrow.
And forget us.
Do you know, do our subscribers know
where tomorrow came from?
I don't know, hold on, let's take a step back.
I don't know if you guys, so,
Simon and Cohen, instead of saying tomorrow,
I would say, I'll see you guys manana.
And I told Simon and Cohen to say,
hey, instead of saying, I'll see you tomorrow,
say, I'll see you manana.
And they mixed the two words, tomorrow and manana.
So, Simon, the first time we got that,
Simon said, I will see you guys to manana.
And so now, we just stuck with manana.
It's to manana, I'll see you tomorrow and to manana.
Okay, so.
Yeah, FDTV makes a poop when FDTV causes
pew, pew, pew, pew, pew.
Oh.
