And today I would like to share with you top 5 tips how to visit Dubai on a budget.
Let's start with the flight. Personally when I plan my trip usually I go
to Skyscanner website or MakeMyTrip. These websites allow you to compare different airlines,
find different timings and usually you can find the best deals on the market there.
When you book your accommodation or hotel make sure it has easy access to the metro station,
beach and downtown. Sometimes when you book your hotel through the agency they can give you very
attractive offers such as 5 star hotel with a private beach but it's located in Sharjah or
Ras Al Khaimah. Guys to get from Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai by taxi will cost you not less
than 200 dirhams and if you are planning several trips to Dubai you will end up paying a lot of
money. My advice if you are planning to explore Dubai you should look for accommodation only in
Dubai. The best areas to look for a budget hotel are Al Barsha, Ticom, JBR, JLT and Dubai Marina.
These areas have very easy access to the metro station, public JBR beach, stunning Dubai Marina
area and if you decide to see Burj Khalifa you can just take a metro and it will take you 20
minutes to get there. Also you can try Airbnb website probably you can find some good options
there. Following my previous advice make sure that your hotel accommodation is located close to
the metro station. One-way ticket will cost you around 5 dirhams. If you are planning to move
around a lot and explore other emirates my advice is to rent a car. The cheapest option will cost
you around 52 dirhams per day and then depends on the car the price will increase. You should
remember that all parking areas on the streets are not free and you have to pay for them to avoid
traffic fines. Also speed cameras are placed everywhere in Dubai and the traffic fines
are very big so be careful while driving. Now let's talk about free or cheap things to do in Dubai.
If you are planning to come to Dubai with your friends or family you should get the entertainer.
It has plenty of buy-one-get-one-free offers to the restaurants activities and attractions
so you can save sufficient amount of money. Also you can visit Groupon website sometimes you can
find very attractive deals there as well. One of the best things to do is to try desert safari
experience. It is really fun activity which includes dune bashing, barbecue dinner and
There are a lot of agencies that can organize this trip for you and there are a lot of options that
can fit in any budget. One of the most popular areas among tourists and locals is JBR. First of
all it has access to the beach, second it has a big variety of water activities and dining options
and the third you can get a great view of the world's largest ferris wheel from there
which is halfway complete. One of the most popular and cheapest tourist attractions
is Dubai Miracle Garden. It has more than 45 million blooming flowers showcased in different
designs and the entry fee is only 40 dirhams. If you have a car you should go to Sheikh Zayed
Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. It's one of the largest mosques in the world and it's open to public and
non-muslim visitors. The architecture is just impressive. It has so many special and unique
elements. If you don't have a car you should go there by bus. It will drop you at the central
station in Abu Dhabi and there you can take a taxi to the mosque. The bus ticket will cost
you 20 dirhams and the entry to the mosque is free. Try to skip luxury cruises and try the
Abra ride. It's fun and the cheapest way to travel through the Dubai creek and it's one of the most
exciting things to do as it connects you to the history of Dubai and it will cost you only one
dirham. Another thing which should be on the top of your to-do list is to go to Burj Khalifa and
visit the observatory deck. My advice guys book your tickets online in advance as quite often
they're sold out once you arrive and the ticket will cost you 125 dirhams. Also you should
definitely visit the dancing fountain. It's located right next to Burj Khalifa and don't
come there earlier than 6 p.m as this is a time when the fountain starts playing.
Now let's move on to the budget dining options.
Every cuisine of the world is represented in Dubai so you can easily find the place you like.
If you fancy trying some authentic restaurants my advice is to visit Ravi. It's a hidden place
in Satwa, Pakistani legendary restaurant. They serve great food and prices are cheap. If you
like Asian food there is another hidden restaurant in the same area which is called Shabu Shabu.
They have live cooking station. The food is delicious and affordable as well. Another option
is to go to the food court in the mall. It has a big variety of budget restaurants but don't forget
to check the entertainer first because usually it has good offers there. When you are going for a
drink try to find the places that have happy hour or ladies night. Happy hour means that you can get
drink for a lower price and ladies night means that ladies can drink for free and you can find
different deals across Dubai almost every day. So guys that's it for today. These were my top
five tips for visiting Dubai on a budget. I tried to cover all main areas but if you have any
questions please leave them in the comments below. Don't forget to hit the like under this video. It's
important for me. It helps me to grow my channel. Thank you for watching. See you soon. Bye-bye.
