We are a FUN and ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional and speaker in her company.
Together we have 5 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
One, two, three. I forgot how it goes. That's all I know.
Everyone hold the phone. Put it down. Don't jump to conclusions.
Don't try to guess what's going down. Don't try to nothing.
We saw a house we like. We just like it. Actually,
I don't even like the house, but it's on five acres.
Okay. Let's just, can we explain? Oh, it's going to be so hard to explain.
No, no, it's not. No, it's not. Okay. It doesn't make sense to me.
How's it gonna make sense to them? I live here. What? If you're watching,
take a seat. Oh my gosh. This is nothing is for sure.
Ashley's got to fix her hair first. Give me three minutes. Hold on. Okay.
Okay. Oh my gosh. Oh, who cares? I just dried my hair.
So it looks like a fluffy mess. Broken record. Let me just explain something
to you. Spit on your hand and wipe it down. Okay.
Okay. Oh my gosh. We have been talking about this since we moved in. Um,
that in the future,
like we're talking retirement status that we would want to live somewhere with a
lot of land. Um,
preferably we like the idea of living in pole patch.
So that's an area just a few streets above us. Um,
and it's like a gated community, but they have tons and tons of acres.
There's like five acres for sale. And how much was it? Was it for five acres?
250,000. We've been looking at the land.
Since we were just like,
maybe we'll just buy the land and in a few years start like building a house up
there. Um, and then if we did that,
we thought maybe we could still keep this house,
rent it out or let someone we know live in it. I don't know.
This is just some things that we've been thinking about. Um, like longterm,
we're talking like way down the road. Well,
I don't know how I get these emails,
but somehow I got an email today of a house that's for sale up there.
Who's sending her these emails? I know there's way more behind it.
It's on five acres. It,
there's a house on it and houses like 4,000 square feet. Yeah.
It's almost 5,000 square feet, which honestly this size we have,
it's like 2,200 and I love it. I freaking love it.
So this might even be a little too big than, than what I actually want.
We'll see. But for the price,
it is almost like you can't pass it up because gutting the whole house and
remodeling it like we did,
this house would still save us so much. Thomas is like,
don't get me started. I'm this close to being finished with this house.
Like I love the whole five acres idea. I'm like, Oh my gosh,
that's actually more your thing than my thing.
So I don't know why you're even being weird. And I'm just, I just,
look at this kitchen. Look at the only thing not done is that.
And then when that's done, we're going to like, what if we do like this place?
What if it's like amazing? I know. So we're just going to go check it out.
We have our realtor coming up and, and honestly the house,
that house is only about $80,000 more than this house.
And that's why it's like five acres. It's in a gated off community.
There is a HOA, which I'm not a big fan of, but, but it's,
but you're in a big gated community. It's beautiful.
Like we're literally on the mountain. Like we're already on the mountain,
but this is like on,
like you don't want to have neighbors because I think everyone up there has at
least five acres. Okay. So here, here's what we're weighing. Okay.
We love this house. Like, I don't know if I could actually ever sell it.
We'd have to really, really, really love this house.
We're going to go look at you'd have to offer me a pretty penny for this home.
We love the landscaping. We love that. It doesn't look like we have neighbors.
It's really secluded. Um, honestly,
there's not anything I don't love about this house besides the fact we know in
the future we want a lot of land and, um,
and I know in five years that land is going to be a lot more. Yeah.
So either way, we're looking at buying land. I also hate our bathrooms here.
Well that's cause we have our master bathroom is the size of my like lap
spread or we don't take showers in there because I don't even use it.
You know, I tried to, when I was full term pregnant, I'm not kidding you.
I couldn't turn around. That's how small it is. So that's a belly. We, we,
that reason we haven't finished that yet is because we don't even really know
like the design. We're going to have to completely like,
I'd have to literally add on five feet to the house. I'm not even joking. Okay.
Well come with us. Let's go check it out. Guys, Jen is back.
We told you what we're going to go do. We're going to just look.
We're just looking. We're just looking.
Okay. Simon, Colin, let's go. We got to get in the car. Okay.
You guys are going to ride with Jen. Come on. You're going to ride in Jen's car.
Okay. Let's go jump in Jen's car. You guys.
If you want the most easy buying experience in the world,
you need to go to best realty group and hit up Jen. Here's her phone number.
Don't be embarrassed that she has bigger biceps than you. Jen, give us a flex.
A good one. A good one. There we go. Okay boys,
let's get in the front porch. Pretty sweet, right?
It goes around the whole front of the house.
And then let me just show you guys our view. There's no front yard.
I know that sounds crazy,
but I obviously be willing to put a lot of work in.
I'm also thinking like French doors. When you walk in.
Whoa, here we go. Oh yeah.
I totally would. Yeah, it looks brand. I like it.
This is a big master. I don't know about this.
I'm sure it could be replaced easy.
I don't know what they're thinking about this carpet, but yeah,
I could do with that closet. Not a bad view out the back window.
Well, let's go down to the basement. Hold on a collar pick a minute. Okay.
Unfinished basement. Supposedly there's one finished room down here.
Oh, here it is. All two finished rooms, I guess.
This room, creepy clock. And then I do not,
Oh, not a bad closet. Kind of weird.
I don't know if I'd have any of my kids sleep down here.
That's a supporting wall. Boys, you guys like this house?
Could you see us living here? Yeah.
Where's the bed? Well, we'd have to move and move out of our little house.
A lot of work. A lot of work out here too. This is the front yard.
I do really, really like our little house. Like I love it.
I love like it's almost done. I could see us growing old there too,
but I think Ashley and I are both really to the point where like, Hey,
we need to find a home that we could raise our three little boys in
and grow old together.
And do we have enough space when the boys get older?
Um, do we need more? Yeah. I'm over here by the car.
I think what excites me about this is like,
it's more the land cause obviously this house is awful,
but I was kind of hoping there were like more trees.
But I'm going to walk over here. It's five acres.
Like five acres is a lot of land. Like that, you know what I'm saying?
That's a lot. I'm going to walk over out here. Kind of just get an idea.
Gosh, you guys, could you see our family growing old here? I don't know.
Beautiful. Like I actually like, I think it's beautiful.
So apparently there was a fire,
like a lightning strike that burned a lot of the trees here.
It came up and caught fire to the corner of the house.
They obviously repaired everything.
So I would go and tear all of that stuff down.
And then there's just, you'd have to do like a lot of work,
like close to the house with all this stuff. You know,
like obviously we want to landscape it and we want a yard for the boys.
I could definitely see us growing old here.
It's a lot of work and like it's going to cost some money.
Couple hundred thousand. Yeah, really?
This is kind of the idea. These are the neighbor across the street.
They only really landscaped like 20 feet out the front of their house and then
they have like a pasture. Kind of.
That's the same idea I think we would do and then plant the trees along the
driveway. Yeah, I like that. It's pretty. And then, I mean,
even look at the back,
like you really only need like a small amount of grass really anyway,
you know? Yeah. And then I definitely could see it,
but I really like our old house, our little house.
Yeah, I explained it from how the fire went down. That's fire. Oh,
you look so cute up there. Maybe. Gosh, maybe.
Is that a big bug?
Put him in jail. What did he do? Oh my gosh. Look how gross.
That's a stink bug.
He's too little. So he'll break out of jail.
I totally ate a stink bug when I was two. That's one fact I know.
My parents told me all the time. Every time I'd see a stink bug,
you ate one of those. Who would just see one of those and put it in their mouth?
Yeah. Number one, what do you guys think about this house? And number two,
do you think we should live here? Seriously? Comment below. I'm curious.
I want to know. This is a huge decision and you guys,
we really value your opinions.
I think I definitely am going to have to buy some cows to eat this grass
or weeds.
One thing we were not, we're not in the market right now,
like to be looking for a house. It just kind of, I mean, it's super random,
but it was like, okay, well that's something we've wanted longterm.
Do we let this offer pass us by and just hope in a few years another one comes?
But my very favorite hobby in the world is to remodel,
to take something that's like the least desired place on the market and
completely transform it. My favorite.
And I know we're still not even done with our house right now.
Like all the way we're pretty much there, but I don't know guys,
I'm just trying to manage my thoughts. I don't know babe. This is weird.
I don't know what we're going to do. I thought if I came up here,
I would like know for sure, for sure. If we should like continue with this process.
But I don't know. I guess we're going to see.
Cause we're going to see what we do. Gosh, it is so late and way past your bedtime.
We just needed to say goodnight to you guys. We're not really for sure.
We've talked to a lot of people about this decision. I don't know.
I just love this house so much. I don't know if I could sell it.
I don't know guys. We're super 50 50 and thank you guys so much for watching.
We'll see you guys tomorrow.
