Fully redesigned for 2022 the Infiniti QX60 Autograph is looking to move up the market in the premium SUV segment. In my Review and Test Drive I discuss the thorough transformation made to the interior, including a more upscale design with added luxury and convenience features! Many questions arise during my review and test drive. Should you spend the extra money or go with the lower priced Nissan Pathfinder? Did the Infiniti QX60 change enough to compete with its many European counterparts? Is this 9-Speed Automatic for Real? Woo! We are riding in style today. I'm here with the 2022 Infiniti QX60. We got the top model,
the Autograph all-wheel drive. We're going to go through the ins and outs. My name is Christopher
and this is Cars Unlocked. Special thanks to our friends at Berlin and Toyota for loaning us this
vehicle. Let's jump into it. So let's talk about what's going on here with this Infiniti QX60.
This one is the Autograph edition and this is the top model. It starts at a base price of around
55 and this top one goes up to 67,995 technically. We got a lot going on here. We love the way it
looks. We love the way it feels. Oh! A little smooth acceleration. This one comes with a 3.5
V6 direct injection gasoline engine. 295 horsepower, 270 pounds feet of torque. So
certainly love the exterior styling. The Infiniti is really trying to make a comeback just like
Nissan did in the last couple years. They're trying to make a comeback with this redesigned QX60
and I think they really hit it out of the park here. I love the curvature of the exterior styling
with that bold kind of square look still maintaining it but the flow of the exterior is
nice. This Autograph comes with the black roof. You can get a different color combination where
you get the black roof and or you can get like a white exterior with the black roof but this one
comes with the black on black roof. Lots of chrome. Nice side steps on the exterior. It's going to come
with 20 inch aluminum alloy rims. Headlights are going to be LED. 9-speed automatic that Nissan's
put out. No more CVT and yeah, real pleasure to drive. I'm comparing it like just by default,
I'm comparing it to the Nissan Pathfinder but this is a little smoother of a launch and take
off here. When you jump on the inside here like this is where the car really takes off and I'm
blown away by the styling here. You have this gorgeous black interior with this cross stitching
here. The white stitching and then you have power folding mirrors. You have your memory positions
for your driver's seat. You have an eight-way memory position seat heated and ventilated and
it's going to massage you too on those long trips but this is the moment and I know this might sound
childish but I've been waiting to try this massage seat. Oh, there you go. You feel a little rumble in
the lumbar. Not too bad. The cool thing about this one, there's also an air purifier out of the vent
so you have your dual temperature control which is down below here and I can control my air
conditioned seats and my heated seats but there's also an air purifier. I love the luxury that you
get in this thing guys like so many nice added features. We have the large digital display that
comes on this one here where you can see things like your digital speedometer, your tachometer,
all the safety features is going to come with it from Infiniti here. We have the auto start
stop technology. We have the forward collision sensor, lane departure warning, blind spot monitor,
pilot assist with the navi link so it will keep you centered in the lane and keep you a safe
distance from the car in front of you so it's really the Nissan Infiniti kind of semi-autonomous
driving. With this autograph edition, you get this nice crotch stitching with the autograph
badging. The seat is super comfortable, really bolsters you very, very well and then as we move
along here, we have this super large screen here. It's going to come with wireless Apple CarPlay
and then you'll get the Android Auto which still you have to plug in. Let's talk about the layout
of everything here. You have this super large touchscreen here in the tablet-like form and you
can control like your phone, your audio, you have your Google Maps and everything and your GPS,
Android Auto like I said and if you don't want to use the touchscreen, you have this
Infiniti control knob here where you can control everything using this knob so auto parking brake
down below and then you have this little tiny shifter which I do like the feel of this shifter.
It's a little smaller than the Nissan one but feels great. Nice d-shaped wheel, the wheel is
heated like I said and then we have our steering assistant as well so there's so many bells and
whistles here. Backup camera comes on automatically, there's our around view monitor, pretty vivid
backup camera as well. Heads up display is going to show my speed sign alert and there's that
forward collision sensor. I was just going a little too fast and it saw that I was getting
close to the guy behind me so it's going to notify you if you're about to get in a forward collision.
Digital rear view mirror, so the rear view mirror is going to broadcast right out of the
backup camera. Super large sunroof and that opens up all the way to the back. Here's another thing
we noticed right away in the vehicle. This 17 premium performance Bose performance speakers.
Probably one of the best sound systems that I've heard in a long time. It sounds phenomenal out of
these speakers. We got an economy mode, we have the automatic mode, we have a sport mode and then you
have the personal mode as well. There's also a snow mode. Obviously I'm going straight to the sport
mode here guys. You still hear the power and like yes you're carting your family around in this but
it's still a real pleasure to drive. This one comes with the two captain chairs. We removed the center
console just to give us a bit more space when filming but access in the third row is pretty
good. This one has the added step rails in this autograph edition so getting in and out for your
kids is going to be easy. In the back, a guy like me, I would have to ask the person in front of me
if I was sitting in the third row just to move up a little bit and they would have to sacrifice some
legroom to make me feel more comfortable but on a short trip I'd be fine. Kids, you shouldn't have
any problem. Also this one, probably one of the better towing capacities in its class. Six thousand
pounds towing and then for fuel economy you're going to get about 10.8 litres combined fuel
economy so not too bad. I know they've improved the fuel economy when they redesigned this so
super fun to drive guys. I can't say anything really bad about this QX60. Obviously not like
to go up to this autograph you're paying 15 grand more than the Pathfinder.
We're going to do a comparison between the two vehicles so stay tuned for that. We're going to go
and compare both but this one you just get the luxury feel and all these nice little accents
all throughout so I'm super in love with this car. You guys comment below what you guys think
of this as Nissan kind of and Infiniti turned around here with this QX60 as Infiniti come a
ton of these and you guys comment what you guys think. As always subscribe to
my channel if you're new here. Have a great day!
