This is the 2027 Nissan Murano Dark Armor package.
My name is Christopher. This is Cars Unlocked.
Let's unlock it to show you what you get when you're purchasing this vehicle.
So for all our returning viewers, you guys know first things first.
We start with the price.
Now Nissan has released two Murano packages for 2027.
This Dark Armor and the Platinum.
So this is the lowest price Murano that it's offered.
It has a Canadian MSRP of $58,716.
And for all my American friends, it has an American USD of $46,990.
I know there's a few more packages in the U.S.
We are covering this Dark Armor package today.
Comment below which package you think is worth the money.
Now check it out the front end of the 2027 Nissan Murano.
There's really no changes from last year's model besides a little cosmetics with this Dark Armor.
This Dark Armor is a new kind of feature that they're offering for 2027 in the Murano.
Let's start with the headlights.
You have full LED headlights all the way around the vehicle.
You have LED headlights, LED taillights.
And these are going to come with Nissan's high beam assistant.
Now because it's the Dark Armor, you do get the black front and rear bumper.
Now it obviously contrasts well with the black on black.
With other colors, you would see the contrast.
But this Dark Armor, it reminds me of the Midnight Editions because everything is blacked out.
On the side profile of the Murano, you can see it's sitting on these 21-inch aluminum alloy rims.
Now this is where I say aluminum alloy because we do have this kind of five-spoke aluminum alloy rim.
And then, you hear that?
We have these plastic little inserts.
I don't know how I feel about that.
I don't know about that.
Like I don't like plastic on any Murano, especially on the rims.
It does have ventilated front and rear disc brakes.
And then as we move along, you can see on the side here, there is this Dark Armor badging.
And then we have our breakaway mirrors with our LED turning accents on the mirror.
Rear privacy glass as well on the back end.
And I love how everything flows all the way to the back.
Checking out the rear, you can see we have the blacked out Murano badging.
I love how the taillight kind of flows all the way through the trunk.
And then we have our rear parking sensors and backup camera,
which we're going to show you when we start it up.
When you're accessing the back, you can use the button on the key.
And there also is a button right on the Nissan emblem for a power liftgate.
And then there's lots of space back here, guys.
You have 32.9 cubic feet of cargo capacity.
Underneath, you have your Bose Audio subwoofer, tire repair kit, no spare anymore.
Now, if you do the Ikea or Home Depot thing, or you got hockey sticks,
all you got to do, pull the trigger here and those seats are going to fold down.
And you got quite a bit of nice flat storage area.
You can slide in all of your big items into the back.
There also is two little cargo lights that you can see right at the top there.
We'll just make it easier for putting things in the back at nighttime.
Now, checking out the key, you can see we got the remote starter, the lock,
unlock and the trunk release and our panic button.
So remote starter, very nice on a hot day like today.
You just need to click and hold the remote start button and it's going to start up.
Push the button on the door.
Now, when you jump inside this thing, there's lots to love in here, guys.
There is nice black leatherette seating, which contrasts great with the black exterior.
Let's start it up.
I already feel my seat moving.
It's an eight-way power adjustable driver's seat.
And then you have two memory seats.
You have heated front seats and let's check out our driver's cabin.
Then we do have this really unique wheel that was taken from the Nissan Aria.
We have this kind of track ball here, which is going to help control my middle screen
where I can control different things using the side buttons here.
And I can scroll through all my different screens.
Now, you'll notice there's two large, massive 12.3-inch displays.
This is for the Nissan Advanced Drive Assist display.
And then we have the other for our Google built-in entertainment.
But there's a lot you can do on here.
You can see we have our drive computer, our tire pressure monitor.
Our GPS will show up right behind our wheel, which is very nice.
Our music, our safety settings.
But this is the screen that everybody loves here.
So you can see we do have the Google built-in, nice and easy.
So you can do an easy search and boom, you can see how easy it is, just like using Google Maps.
But then there's a lot more that you can do here.
I can control all my heating right on the touchscreen, my heated seats, my wheel.
It does have automatic temperature control, just like the thermostat in your house.
So many different ways to play music here, guys.
AM, FM, Sirius satellite, Bluetooth audio.
You have Amazon Alexa if you want to sync it to your Alexa.
But speaking of music, oh, here we go.
Meatloaf.
Love Meatloaf.
10 Bose audio speakers in this Dark Armor package.
So as you just heard, it sounds phenomenal.
What else can you do here?
Obviously, you can connect your phone, Bluetooth, or you can do Apple CarPlay and Android Auto,
which are going to be wireless.
You can do all the voice commands.
There's a ton of different apps here.
Like I said, Android Auto, you can sync it to the Alexa.
There's the digital garage.
So you can sync your garage doors openers.
You don't have to carry the garage door fob around.
Now, what I really like is the interior lighting.
You can change the different lighting.
Like if I want this interior ambient lighting to be brown, I can change it to brown.
There's all different colors.
You can kind of see it here changing.
And you can adjust the brightness and lower the brightness.
You can really customize the vehicle itself.
We also have kind of these capacitive buttons here for the heating and temperature.
Now, one thing we really like about this car is they do have the wireless charging pad.
And it's now magnetized.
So you can see now it's indicating my phone is charging.
And it's not going to move.
In some of the previous Nissans, it would slide around as you drove and shift off the charger.
Nissan Rogue, I'm talking about you.
But now they've added this little magnet here to keep your phone secure.
So it will always be charging.
Now, checking out the back.
Obviously, this is a five passenger vehicle.
And the thing about the Murano is there's a ton of space.
And it is super comfortable back here.
I'm 5'9".
And I got still lots of headroom.
These two seats are heated.
We do have an elbow rest, cup holders, cup holders in each door.
There's a mat pocket right at the side here.
Three of me back here would be very comfortable for a long drive.
Obviously, two would be preferred.
There's chargers here to charge your phone.
Very happy with the back seat.
Very, very comfortable.
So now we're behind the wheel of this thing, which is really the best part about it.
Like I can't talk about how smooth the drive is enough.
Like I can't talk about that enough.
It's very, very quiet in the cabin.
They do have things like active noise cancellation and things like that in the cabin.
But it's very, very smooth.
And that's what you get by paying extra.
You're going to be paying extra for this
than obviously purchasing something like the Nissan Rogue.
But you get a smoother, quieter ride.
Under the hood of this is a 2L variable compression 4-cylinder with a turbo.
So it has that VC turbo that Nissan is known for,
which gives you about 241 horsepower and 260 pounds feet of torque.
So very, very smooth when accelerating.
Lots of power.
And it does come with obviously Nissan's intelligent all-wheel drive.
So we obviously like that as well.
We're going to do a quick little 0-60 or 0-100 here in sport mode on 3, 2, 1.
1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi, 4 Mississippi, 5 Mississippi, 6 Mississippi,
7 Mississippi, 8 Mississippi.
I'd say that was about eight and a half Mississippis.
I kind of started counting maybe a second late.
So not bad.
I mean, it was a smooth acceleration as you're going.
I definitely heard a lot of road noise.
If you plan to tow anything,
this one pretty standard on all the Mirandas for years.
They've had about a 1,500 pound towing capacity.
There's no tow hitch on it,
but you can equip your own if you're towing like small items.
9-speed automatic transmission.
And the reason why it's so smooth,
you have front independent and rear multi-link suspension throughout.
The things I love about the car is all the technology in it,
but you have all Nissan's safety suite of features.
So you have the blind spot monitor, the rear emergency braking.
You have the front emergency braking.
You have their lane departure prevention and warning.
You have things like intelligent driver alertness,
it will alert you to stay awake every handful of seconds.
If it just notices you're kind of staying in the one position.
But my favorite, favorite feature is this Nissan pro pilot assist,
which works in conjunction with the intelligent cruise control.
Now we are going to lock us in the lane and add our speed.
And it kind of just keeps you locked in the lane
and keeps you a safe distance from the car in front of you.
You can set it to go three car lengths, two car lengths, one car length.
And it basically just locks you right in the lane.
Really, really great on the highway for long drives,
helps kind of alleviate fatigue.
You also have things like speed sign recognition.
So it will tell you what the speed limit is.
So you always know the speed limit to prevent you from speeding.
You have four different drive modes.
You got a sport mode, which is going to be,
it's going to basically give you a little bit more RPMs,
uses a little bit more gas,
but you get more acceleration.
Then you have a standard mode on economy mode,
which basically is the opposite of the sport mode.
It kind of gives you a lower RPMs.
You don't have as much acceleration, but it does save on fuel.
Now, I was never a believer in the economy mode
until I tested it for a YouTube video,
which we'll link in the description below.
I have debunked this.
It does save you gas.
It will save you a lot of gas, especially on long trips.
And there's currently a snow mode,
which works in junction with the all wheel drive,
which is going to help make it easier for driving in the snow.
One thing I've been dying to show you is this backup camera.
So take a look here.
You have a couple of different displays.
Right there is the bird's eye view.
It does have Nissan's moving object detection.
So if something whizzes by us here, it's going to notify us.
And then I can adjust my view.
Like there's my parallel views for both.
If you wonder if you're going to hit a curve
and there's a nice wide shot.
You can turn on and off your rear auto braking.
So it will brake for you.
If we approach these mailboxes here,
you can hear the sonar is activating.
And now it's braking.
It's not letting me back up because they're right there.
So really handy feature.
The thing you're getting here with your money,
it's very smooth drive, lots of power, very quiet.
The seats are super comfortable.
I love the seats.
I can't say anything bad about the seats.
These are so much more, so much comfier
than the Nissan Kicks or the Nissan Rogue seats.
You can just kind of feel them hugging you a little bit.
So I'm not sure what the difference is.
But while we are driving here,
I want to say thank you to all of our continuing subscribers.
You guys have been supporting these Nissan videos

Kevin, I want to hear what you think about the Murano.
And let me know, like I'm curious
what Nissan's going to do with the Murano.
Like I know they don't sell a lot of them here in Canada.
They were really impacted by the tariffs from the US.
So we don't have like 15 to 20 of them
sitting on the lots here in Canada.
They're pretty much by an order basis only.
So there you have it squad.
Thank you so much for watching.
Put in the comments what you think
