I got up super early for the sunrise, which was actually there earlier, but kind of disappeared
behind the clouds now.
I was going to film it for you guys, but we were busy taking photos.
This is the setup we have going on here.
You can see the pink outside today.
Seated at our table, we've got Cathy here and two outside.
Our room is somewhere in there.
Let's eat!
All right, guys.
We found our spot right here.
You can see Sunrise Peak in the background.
I think we've got our shots.
We're going to head off now to our next destination.
Got our tickets to go to Udo.
Hopped on the ferry and I needed to show you because it's so pretty and blue outside.
I'm so happy.
The shuttle bus that goes around the islands.
This is so nice.
We just got our burgers.
Looks so good.
Kilda Burger.
Just gotten ourselves some of Udo's famous tangpung ice cream.
So good.
Just caught the shuttle bus to Udo Peak, I think.
Not sure what exactly it's called in English, but it is super, super, super cool.
I don't know what this kind of land formation is called.
Wow, it's so beautiful.
Wow.
And there's a lighthouse up there too, if you can see it.
Hi, everyone.
From in the middle of the rainforest, we are climbing this never-ending set of stairs for
flowers.
Udo has these really beautiful purple flowers.
I don't know what they're called in English, but I want to go take photos,
except we don't really know where it is.
And we're just guessing that it's on this mountain.
So this is how all bad decisions come to a start.
It's also, I feel, raining a bit.
So this is probably a really bad idea, but I guess we'll find out
if there are flowers at the top of the mountain.
Just thought I'd give you a look at this never-ending set of stairs.
This is what we get for eating ice cream at Vlagas.
Oh my god.
Wow.
We're up this high already, and we still see no flowers.
Kathy, when's the last ferry off this island?
6.30.
What time is it now?
Okay, will we make it down the mountain by then?
You know, I think it's time for a song.
Ready?
Okay.
I can almost see it, that dream I'm dreaming.
But there's a voice inside my head saying you'll never reach it.
Every step I'm taking, every move I make feels lost with no direction.
My faith is shaking, but I, I gotta keep trying.
Gotta keep my head held high.
Cause there's always gonna be another mountain.
I'm always gonna wanna make it move.
Always gonna be an uphill battle.
Sometime I'm gonna have to lose.
Ain't no matter how fast I get there.
Ain't no matter what's waiting on the other side.
It's a climb.
We made it somewhat to the top.
There is another climb over there, but that looks much more doable than this.
I can't believe we actually did that.
Okay.
We see it, we found the flowers.
It's so freaking far away.
It's all up there, oh my god.
I don't know if you guys can see it, but there's some right here
and some right there near the lighthouse.
I think the lighthouse looks more doable.
There's horsies!
Can we just roll down the hill?
Horsies, oh well you can roll down the hill.
I'm going.
Go!
Do you need me to push you?
Oh the lighthouse doesn't look that far away now.
We made it to the lighthouse, but we haven't figured out how to get to the flowers.
Hopefully there's a staircase there.
Do you see what I see?
Yeah, I see.
It's a flower, it's a flower.
We actually want to go lower down this slope where there's flowers.
We sound like horses trotting.
Yes, we're going to meet the horses down there.
Oh yes, there's horsies.
We made it!
Look at all of these flowers!
It's a flower wall!
These ones are more blue turned and there's purple ones over there
and we're basically completely surrounded in flowers and I'm so happy!
Look at these, look at it.
It's like a pillow of flowers.
We are going to spend the next hour taking photos
and then rush to make our ferry because I think it's getting late.
So we'll see you guys later.
We have finished our photos.
Trying to figure out how to get back to civilization basically.
Not sure, but we'll figure it out.
Like how we figured out how to get to the flowers earlier.
Taking the scenic route back.
Horses over there.
I see a baby horse, it's so cute.
Oh, we got photos with the horses.
I'm so happy.
Made it on the bus back to the ferry port.
We are finally at the port again.
That ajusshi knows how to play.
That ajusshi definitely knows how to party.
And now we are heading on to the last ferry for the day.
Shall we run too?
We are heading to a CU convenience store
because we're going to pick up some food for dinner
so that we don't need to head out in the middle of the rain again.
Got our dinner.
Back inside our Airbnb.
Got our ramen cooked.
We're watching this drama on TV right now.
Going to eat our ramen and get an early night's rest
because I was so tired earlier, I died.
Today is our last day in Jeju-do so I'm a bit sad
but we have to go back to Seoul now.
Just doing one last check to make sure that we haven't left anything.
All right, it's time to head out.
We're actually heading to a cafe
but then we're passing by this beach on the way
and it looks so beautiful so I had to stop and take a video for you guys.
The water is so blue here and the sky is so blue too.
This is the kind of blue sky we've been wanting for the past few days.
So happy!
All right, but we need to keep moving.
We need to keep moving to keep on our schedule.
Oh, I think it's there.
I think it's right across the road.
This here is the table that we came for.
Let me show you.
This is the, oh, our suitcases are there
but this view with this broken wall over here is the shot that we're coming for.
Finished our photos and it's time to actually eat and drink.
It was so hot back there so we moved over here to the shade to keep warm.
The sea breeze coming over from this way.
Beautiful view of the sea over there.
And beautiful company.
Time to dig into this cake.
Our suitcases inside the cafe and across the road.
Come take photos because it's so pretty.
Picked up our suitcases and we have arrived at our next stop.
Our food!
Seafood tteokbokki and my favorite radish.
I love this radish so much.
It's a boil.
It's about done.
Looks so good.
We've got an umbrella for it because the wind is so strong and it was struggling to boil.
So Cathy is protecting our food.
Do you see that boil?
I can almost eat.
