DAEGU TRAVEL DIARY 🇰🇷 Day 3 of 3.

Good morning everyone! It is our third and final day in Daegu and of course we are starting off the morning going to a cafe again This morning's cafe is called Cafe Ugly It's actually not ugly, it's really beautiful It's really beautiful Anyway, we're gonna head in now I'm hoping it's open It is! And we're in a cafe! Yay! Breakfast is served! It looks so delicious We've got a yoghurt bowl here a pecan carrot cake and balsam cookie! Thank you for the food! Continuing our journey to the next cafe and I feel like we found... I don't know if it's a market street or a cafe street but it's so cute guys! Looks like there's a performance about to happen here but they're not there yet So this street is Kim Kwang Seok Road and I think a lot of things here are guitar themed because Kim Kwang Seok was a guitarist So I see a lot of cafes naming themselves after guitars as well as lots of guitar statues, murals on the walls and there's even a love lock wall here! We found it! It's this cafe Wow! Looks like they have a really cute courtyard here Let's head in! We're in today's cafe and we're just waiting for our drinks We got two of the bisugaru latte and we're just waiting for it now We're sitting outside for the good lighting and it's hot It is hot but we can't take photos inside It's too hot While we're waiting I just searched up who Kim Kwang Seok was The address to this road is called Kim Kwang Seok Gil or Kim Kwang Seok Street and he was a famous South Korean folk singer who's now passed away but they've dedicated this entire 350m long wall completely lined with statues and murals dedicated to his life and music So he must have been really famous I just felt like I should google him since we are on his street Apparently this is where he used to live Did you know that? We are in Kim Kwang Seok area Got our drinks So these are both We got the same one because there was another drink that we wanted except it's out of season already So these are bisugaru drinks with dango on top They look so cute They told us to dip the dango into the drink So we're going to do that And of course get them Instagram stories So ready Let's do this Instagram story's done and we're now going to go for our first ride That's really good We have straws as well that we forgot about This place I saw on Instagram like 2 months ago and I knew that if I ever came to Daegu this would be like a must visit place because I love these kind of Asian inspired drinks and desserts So our last cafe Cafe Kunsurae brings our cafe hopping adventures to a close We're about to leave Daegu in a few hours but just before we leave we're making sure to take a stop at Seomun Market which is the biggest market in Daegu Every time you Google what to do in Daegu they all say to visit Seomun Market So we are here We tried to come last night if you guys remember except it was closed already So we're making our last pit stop in Daegu Seomun Market We just found a hotteok store which is what we really really really love in Busan and we just found it again in Daegu It looks so good Let me show you guys It's really hot but looks so good We got our hotteok It's really crispy I'm so happy We just got our hotteok and still walking through the market but both me and Cathy are kind of full so we're trying to choose really wisely because we still feel like we should eat more things at the market Just need to pick which ones to eat We're kind of on the hunt for some more representative Daegu food We'll see what we can find There's food stalls everywhere After much deliberation we have finally chosen a store We sat down and ordered a naengguksu I think Daegu is famous for like a different type of noodle It's really hot right now and we wanted something cold so we ordered a naengguksu Just waiting for them to make it We got our naengguksu It looks so good even though we're both really full Can we finish this? I have no idea We'll try our best Not even 5 minutes later We said we were full but we still managed to smash an entire bowl How do you feel? I'm so full right now Same But that was a great meal She just burped Finished lunch and we are heading back to our hotel now We stored our luggage there and they said that the luggage storage room is going to be locked at 4pm Right now it's almost 3pm so we're going to rush back to collect our luggage and then we're going to leave Daegu We're going back We're going back to Seoul and back to studying Hi guys We are at the bus terminal now Earlier we went back to the hotel to pick up our luggage So we've got our luggage here Bought our bus tickets and we're now waiting for the express bus back to Seoul This is going to be the last vlog for today and also for this weekend This is the end of our Daegu adventures I hope you guys enjoyed following along with us exploring Daegu and doing some major cafe hopping We'll see you guys in the next one Bye
