Some of the coolest experiences in life are complete surprises and this is one of them. We ended up being offered a behind the scenes tour of Disney Studios and for a couple of nerds like us this was just an amazing memory in the making. We also take the opportunity to tour a little of San Pedro California before hopping on our favorite form of long distance transportation, a beautiful Royal Caribbean cruise ship, to roll along south to warmer climates. Along the way we stop in Mexico for some much needed beach time then take the opportunity to check another item off the bucket list by taking a boat tour on gorgeous Lake Atitlan in gorgeous Guatemala. Loving our lives!

USS Iowa. Today we get to do something special. We're getting a tour of Disney
Studios. We're not sure we're going to be able to take any pictures
so you this may be it or you might see something more. Hopefully.
We got to go into the Disney Studios and we even got to see behind the scenes filming.
It was an amazing experience.
We got on the cruise ship and now we are in beautiful Puerto Vallarta.
Time for some well-deserved beach time.
We're headed to Lake Itiquan. We're in Puerto Vallarta and we're headed to Lake Itiquan.
We had a on the bus swing and also lots of animals and little towns. It was absolutely
beautiful. I didn't get car sick because they went slow enough and we got to see lots of coffee which
as you know is our favorite. I think it's cool we're the only people that follow directions
and we're the first ones on. We came across the lake and had a beautiful, very filling
lunch at this pretty place. We're in the village of Pepe Bebe. What is it again?

It's really cool. Now we're off to get back on the boat and go back across the lake. Costa Rica
as you've heard is very lush. We're doing Guatemala. We're in Costa Rica.
We landed in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala and there's not much around there just
pretty much vendor selling stuff and it's a long ways into town so don't expect much.
There's a whole bunch of fishing boats around so you could book a tour right there.
This is a great port to either book a tour or stay on the boat.
Whichever. Guatemala is very lush, beautiful and I want to go back there.
