Limited edition? Something's fishy here. Let's find out.
So I'm with the 2020 Nissan Murano Platinum Limited Edition. I was really confused by this
when it arrived at our dealership because it looks very identical to the 2019 Midnight Edition
Muranos that we saw last year. To me, it's almost as if Nissan didn't sell enough of these Midnight
Editions and they tried to rebrand it as a Limited Edition. But I'm going to let you tell me
in the comments what Limited Edition means to you. To me, Limited Edition means something very rare,
might come out for a special occasion, like a specific Star Wars movie. The Nissan Rogue did
a Star Wars Edition. That would be considered like a Limited Edition at that time. But I think
they're trying to kind of change the marketing up here and they're kind of taking us for fools as
consumers because it's really the exact same thing as last year's model and I'm pretty sure
they just had some extra 2019s lying around and instead of keeping it at Midnight Edition,
they tried to brand it as a Limited Edition. But I don't see any customers run into the door like
it's Black Friday to collect these. These are going to be around for a while here.
What you get with the Limited Edition from the regular Platinum, it's about a thousand dollar
jump. And you get these nice black rims, you get the aluminum kick plates on the inside of the doors,
the rear cargo cover. So only a few things. There's a rear bumper protector as well. So it
does have some value to go up to this Limited Edition. But I'm really disappointed in the
marketing from Nissan. Don't take us for fools. We know this is the same as the Midnight Edition,
nothing limited about it. It does have some value in the package but the branding just doesn't make
sense to me. Nevertheless guys, this is still a Nissan Murano Platinum. So it still is a gorgeous
vehicle and would be a very comfortable purchase for myself. I just don't like that Nissan Limited
Edition branding. But let's check out the front. Before we do guys, I unlock Nissans all the time.

Ask me your questions in the comment section below and my Instagram is at CVM Weekend if you
want to check that out. Let's look at the front here of the Murano. Not really too many changes
from last year's model which is why I'm assuming these are remaining models just branded as 2020s.
You can see this one is in the all black which really looks good with actually the Limited
Edition features being the black with the black rims. Large V-Motion grille here, that's known
for every Nissan. Here we have this nice large sensor right below our licensing plate. That's
for like our forward emergency braking and our forward collision warnings. And we do have a front
facing camera right there. However, no ProPILOT Assist in the Nissan Murano. The Nissan Murano
comes with hydraulic steering so it doesn't work with the ProPILOT Assist. So again I ask myself,
Limited Edition but no ProPILOT Assist doesn't even include Nissan's best feature that they're
advertising right now. Like I said, something smells fishy here guys. Front sensors as well,
that's going to help with parking. And then we do have our small fog lights. When I turn the
lights on, the headlights actually look great with these nice LEDs. LED Nissan Signature Daytime
running lights. Some really gorgeous headlights, nice visibility at nighttime. Moving on to the
rear of the car. It does have these nice dual exhausts at the very bottom and they're right
below our rear backup sensors. Part of this Limited Edition package is this rear bumper
protector. So that's going to help when you're sliding things in and out of the trunk. And of
course our backup camera is right by our license plate there. It does have the foot activated lift
gate and I can open it up there just by putting my foot under the bumper. And then as we come
inside the trunk, this is where the Murano really gets great. Here is another addition.
This comes with the Limited Edition. It's your rear privacy cover or cover for the trunk. That
is also about $300 from the dealership. And then you can fold the seats down right with the levers.
So a very large flat storage space. There is your spare tire right underneath and a little
hidden storage. So that's what everybody likes about the Murano. One disappointment that I had
in 2019 is they took away the power come back seats. You used to be able to push a button
and fold the seats up. Now you can only put them down and you got to come around
and you got to use your hands to put them up manually. Under the hood, still an impressive
power plant that Murano's are known for. Don't get me wrong, this is still a Nissan Murano like I said.
3.5 liter V6 engine, 260 horsepower and 200 pounds-feet of torque. So a lot of output here.
It's going to give you about 11.7 liters per every 100 kilometers in the city and 8.7 on the highway.
Very, very good fuel economy for such an impressive power plant. Your CVT engine is in here as well.
And like I mentioned before, hydraulic steering. This looks great with the black exterior and the
black rims. This comes with this limited edition 20-inch aluminum alloy rims. Front and rear disc
brakes as well obviously on our Murano. You can see these are almost identical to the midnight
edition rims that they had. So it really makes me question why they went away with the midnight
edition branding on the Murano and put it as this limited edition. But these rims alone are pretty
much worth the thousand dollars in the package upgrade if you do like the black rims. These are
the aluminum kick plates that you also get with this limited edition packing. Again about another
three to four hundred dollar install accessory at the dealership. But it really adds to the luxury
feel and it makes it easier when you're getting in and out. Especially at night time you can see
where you're stepping. When you enter the vehicle you jump into this eight-way power adjustable
driver's seat. And it is Nissan's zero gravity seat. And this beautiful quilted leather comes in this
platinum model. So it's a very very comfortable seat and it does give it a high-end look. I can't
wait to see this quilted leather in the new Rogue that I think they're going to put in here.
What I really like air-conditioned front seats, heated front seats. Let's start this thing up.
It does have the memory position as well. So you saw the wheel just go down and then I can set my
seat here. There's two positions for the drivers so you can have your memory positions. But very
easy to set the seat and save your positions. Let's take this thing for a spin. All right so
we're taking off in this Murano and again very very luxury. This is like you took the Maxima
and the Rogue and put it in a blender and this is what you would come out. Very very sporty but you
get that SUV feel. My only beef is this front dash is very very high. There's a lot of wasted space
up here and it's kind of hard to see over the front hood there for a small guy like me. But
overall the drive is incredible. I do have the nice infotainment system in between my gauges for
my digital speedometer. It's a heated leather wrapped wheel. The steering is nice and light
here. It's going to come with all our high-end features like our blind spot warning, our lane
departure warning and then this wood grain trim. This comes in that platinum model so it does give
it a higher end look. 8-inch infotainment screen with the Nissan Kinect system. If you want to
learn how to use all that you can check out one of my other videos. But we do have their navigation,
we got our Bluetooth audio streaming, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay if you want to use those
those fun apps. And then we have our nice 360 camera which we're going to show you here. So it
comes with four cameras on your screen here and then we have the bird's eye view and the backup
camera. As I reverse you can see the guidance lines will help me here and then we have this
MOD which is our moving object detection. So it will beep at you if someone crosses through like
a bike or another car as you're parking making it easier to park. In the rear 102 cubic feet back
here and what I really like is the zero gravity seats aren't just for the front they're for the
back passengers as well. These two seats are heated and then there is some USB tons of storage
back here for the passengers. Right in the center stack there's a little phone storage, two map
pockets, there's cup holders in each door and some storage in each door and then there's our center
armrest which does have another spot for your phone and then you have two cup holders. So this
is great for your passengers. The seats also recline back so I have them back all the way.
You can adjust the seats and set it to the position you want so you get a more comfier ride.
Our only beef with the rear, the rear doors don't open super wide so it might be tough if you're
putting things like car seats in or you have a hard time getting in and out of the vehicle.
Everybody's favorite thing is the large panoramic moonroof. They're getting more and more popular
now. You can see this one has a massive roof and it goes all the way to the back. You can stop it
at any time but you can see how far back it goes. This front one is going to open up and the rear
one will stay closed to your environment. So to conclude the Moreno is a real pleasure to drive.
I'm just not happy with the way they branded it but Nissan's put pretty much all their bells and
whistles into this thing besides the pro pilot assist like I mentioned. Gonna come with the
sturdy all-wheel drive. Bose audio sound system sounds great. Probably hard to hear in the video
the quality but when you get in this thing it sounds phenomenal. You also get a lot of technology
like the speed sign recognition all our blind spot features so very very happy with the drive. I just
don't like the way they branded this limited edition. So that's a wrap guys. Thanks for
listening to me rant about the Nissan Moreno but this is my request to Nissan. Do not take us for
fools here. Us consumers we're very educated. There's a ton of information on the internet.
There's a ton of people like me who are going to educate the common buyer. So do not rebrand
the vehicle and limit it as a limited edition. If you want to see more guys hit that subscribe
