Carters Lake Ridgeway Mountain Biking

welcome back to the jen and kevin show just in case you missed it here's a couple thumbnails from past videos we've made from mountain biking to road biking to putting on trailer hitches stay tuned for more videos we're we're over in lj we're actually over in carter's lake to be more specific there's a couple of downhill runs here that have been here a while like many many years the guys at uh carter k bike shop have been coming here forever and taking care of them forever and they were just like yeah we just basically went in with a broom and swept off stuff but then they came in and put another uh added a flow trail with it but um the two downhill runs are super fun so i don't know i i decided to bring you here to show you those downhill runs so looks like we're about to hit a double black and a single black session these and so it's a ridgeway ridgeway ridgeway recreation center say that three times fast on carter's lake let's do oh throwing some sneakers on them putting some sneaker moves on them oh this is steep oh oh drop the brakes i don't know about that i'm sure somebody's hitting that not me oh tight trees oh oh and the big descent get behind the bike and let it rip oh that must have been the double black feature oh man almost came off the trail oh we got some climbing here oh that was sketchy wow warning on that one tight rocks climbing i'm sure during a race you could sprint most of this oh oh oh i think a hidden gem for downhill trails though these are real oh there we go that was pretty neat nice and chunky oh there's a big jump here but i just don't know how they were managing to clear that so just got back to the car from running the double black diamond you're definitely hitting a drop you're hitting a double thanks to jim for bringing me out it's pretty legit i mean there's a lot of good size obstacles or features there this is the first like normal park i've ever been to that actually had what i would consider a downhill run a like comment subscribe hit the notification bell closing it down with some afterlife food at barbecue barbecue place with jim blocking the day definitely put a hurt now on me at least jim dropped me on i believe it was every single climb that we went on not just one not just two but all of them it's pretty legit she laughed at me walked back and looked at me and asked me if i was actually walking my bike and i was it was great she looked at me she thinks it's funny not that funny but uh had a blast good time i'm totally gonna recommend ridgeway i recommend ridgeway double black for anybody to go in session in a small climb make it totally worthwhile hopefully you guys are eating well after your rides and we'll see you on the next adventure
