Just like ran right into it and this group of tourists were like, oh no, is she okay?
And I'm too tired. I think we're just tired. Just like the 10-hour bus ride really did us in.
What's up P Nation? Today's our last day in Slovakia before we head to the Ukraine.
It is 4.28 in the morning right now and we are about to get on a bus that's gonna take
10-ish hours.
Yeah, so we're hoping to like, we got up really early. It's a really early bus.
So we're hoping to sleep for like five hours and then like wake up and maybe like watch some movies.
I don't know. But first we got to find where the bus station is. We don't really know.
So we have 30 minutes to do that. So we gotta go.
🎶
Not a case. It's like one bus. It's very small.
It's confusing.
It's like being in Southeast Asia.
🎶
Okay, so it is 6.30. I've been on the road for an hour and a half.
We just made it to the border crossing into Ukraine.
It was like a very long ride.
I'm wondering why the ride takes 10 hours.
This might come to me later then.
Alright, time for an update. Two and a half hours later.
We are, we didn't have to get off the bus though.
I thought we were gonna have to get off the bus and tow our stuff through.
It will sit here. You watch a movie.
I'm on my second movie.
You're on your second movie. Yeah.
I don't know how long it's gonna take but we'll see.
No wonder it takes 10 hours.
We switched buses.
We are, what time is it?
12.
So we are, I don't even know, 7 hours in.
And apparently it takes 10 hours.
But I just looked up how long it takes to get there and it says it takes 4 hours.
So we'll see how this works.
I know.
It's not working.
Zach's like trying to get me to drink water.
I'm like I can't.
Okay and we have made it.
We are on time.
We got here 10 hours after 11.
We got on like an un-air-conditioned bus
and then I was like
I think everything's a little bit cheaper in Ukraine
and that is definitely the case.
We just got an Uber for how much?
$3.
It's gonna be $3.
Okay.
And just like that we made it to our Airbnb.
Walked up the steps.
Oh wait.
I fell up the steps.
All of a sudden it got really dark and I was like
what are we doing?
And then all of a sudden
I was on the ground and Leah was like
what are you doing?
What are you doing?
And I was like
I didn't say that.
I said are you okay?
Okay she was really nice afterward but in the moment it was
No.
He's lying.
Okay we're gonna try and go get some food.
She found a good place and
I'm really looking forward to finding some soft serve ice cream
because it's like 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
My body is still so hot.
Just like overheated.
If we could find an air-conditioned room
that would change our lives.
Music
Whoa so we cannot find our eating place
but that is perfectly fine because this city
is so cool. Everyone's out.
It's kind of reminding me of Vietnam.
Everyone's got a little spot on the street.
They're selling vegetables and shoe shinings
and clothes.
We've literally been out for maybe five minutes.
This is so cool.
Music
So we found a shawarma plate.
I just love miscommunication.
And this time it turned out well
because it's like shawarma plate
like the meat.
The meat and the fries and everything
and it's in this really hot toasty bread.
It was so good.
So refreshed. That was amazing.
We are now looking for some gelato
because apparently it's super cheap here.
We love places that are cheap.
Music
Gelato is so good
and apparently there's a market
right next to our hotel.
So that's what we're going to go check out next.
Music
We are definitely hitting up that market tomorrow.
I think Leah's going to make us some cheese dish.
Well, I just brought that.
Please make us some cheese dish.
Anyways, I just smelled basil for the first time
since we've been on our vacation
and I just feel like
so unacclimated to everything I'm familiar with
because we've been gone for so long now.
Yeah, I mean
five months. That's a long time.
Okay, so I fell off the stairs.
Leah just hit one of these black things.
As you can see they're in a straight line. I don't even know how that's possible.
I hit the first one. Just like ran right into it
and this group of tourists were like, oh no, is she okay?
I'm too tired to even like
respond. I think we're just tired.
Just like the 10 hour bus ride really did us in.
Ugh.
Okay, it is
7.10 at night but we woke up at
4.30 this morning.
So we're going to call it a day.
Oh, it wasn't 3.30. It was 2.30.
We're going to call it a day and just
go to sleep now.
Today's been amazing.
But this city looks awesome. We are so excited
to explore it tomorrow. Looks like it has
a lot to offer. Yeah, apparently there's
free wifi all across the city so we can just like
work from anywhere. It's crazy.
Filming stuff.
I look up and this guy is like right above
me smoking a cigarette.
And I was like, oh my god.
It's like so early in the morning
right now.
