3 Casual Winter Outfits | Men's Fashion Winter Lookbook 2018

What's up guys? I'm Brian Sacawa. You're watching He Spoke Style, and contrary to what you may think, I do not always wear a suit or get super dressed up. I like to dress casually too, and today I am showing you three of my favorite winter casual looks. Now dressing casually and still looking put together is a little bit of a balancing act. You don't want to look sloppy, but you also don't want to wade into the territory of looking too dressed up. One thing I always do when putting a casual look together is to have at least one piece that will sort of elevate the entire look. Here, it is this great suede trucker jacket from Michael Andrews Bespoke. Gets a lot of love on Instagram, and you can see why. Accessorizing is also very important to making a look feel complete. During the winter months, I am rarely without my Drake's knit hat and a scarf. This one and this fantastic Glen plaid is from Uniqlo. If you saw my Uniqlo try-on video last week, a lot of these pieces are going to look very familiar. I'm already putting them to good use, including this puffer vest and brown corduroy shirt. Now, while I like the Uniqlo price point, I am not averse to spending money on high quality items, as it's really an investment and something that is going to last. Two pieces here fall into that category. My selvedge denim jeans are by Double RL. I've had these for almost two years, and they still look like this. And these amazing burgundy brogue cap toe boots by Bostonian. Here is kind of an interesting take on layering. For my base layer, I started with a turtleneck that has about a medium thickness. Over that, I threw on this very warm shirt jacket, so between the two, I will definitely be warm enough outside. This outfit is a great example of how the right accessory can take it from being kind of plain to having some kind of interest. In this case, it's the scarf. As you can see, the color is a very nice contrast, but it's the plaid pattern that really adds that element of interest and texture to the whole look.
