I LOVE pork belly (红烧肉) this version is EXTREMELY EASY and you can make it in a rice cooker!

Ingredients:
1 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tsp dark soy sauce

2 tsb sugar
5 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
5 chili pepper dried
4 slices of ginger
1 scallion
1 potato and or boiled egg(optional)
