I remember when we just moved here and one of our neighbors, who only lives here during the summer, said to us: "You do know life is really dull here during the winter? Are you sure you want to live here permanently?"
She said it would be quiet. And all we could think was: that sounds perfect!
We spend our weekends enjoying the simple life. Especially now with continued restrictions and we can not really go anywhere. And this weekend we finally had snow!! We were all so excited about that!
So here's a simple video of our family enjoying a winter weekend in the countryside of Burgundy, France.

And then one morning we woke up to a winter wonderland.
The snow didn't stay long and it wasn't much, but we were so happy because, as my 10-year-old said,
it just makes everything feel so quiet and mystical.
I use my computer a lot in running my two businesses, having video calls with my teams
and clients. So whenever I have time to get away from any screen, a phone or a laptop,
I enjoy doing these silly creative projects. I just try things out with no other intention than
just having a good time and enjoying myself. And it makes me feel relaxed. It quiets my mind.
It makes time go slower and it makes me really be in the moment.
