Hi guys it's Jordan here from RSM Overland and welcome to my channel.
In today's video as you can see I have a lot of small packages here and that's because I'm gonna
unbox, show you and install five Aliexpress or Wish mods for your Subaru. It can be a Forester
just like here, an Impreza, an Outback, there are pretty universal mods.
So it's gonna be pretty fun stay tuned.
And I'm gonna start right away with this one.
That's an alloy battery tie-down to replace the the old and most of the time rusty one.
So it's advertised as a Cusco one. I didn't know about that on the Aliexpress product description.
We even got a fake sticker with it.
So it looks pretty good, feels pretty good.
Let's install it.
So as you can see mine was already repainted in red and I put some butterfly
nuts for easy removal.
Why red? I don't know.
It's electrical and so let's put some red in it and that's why I went for another red.
So the install should be pretty easy, pretty quick.
Let's get the new one.
All right so as you can see it's looking way better than the old one.
Even though I'm probably put this one on the daily force.
So it's looking pretty good.
The quality is way enough for a battery tie-down and it's just around 5 bucks, 5 euros.
So with this one I'm pretty happy.
Let's keep going with this little package and what do we got in there?
Can you guess so far?
Okay I got this one out.
That's a little nice black finish for you know the thing that holds your doors in place.
I don't even know the name in English of it.
I think you already guessed where it is but we're gonna install them right now.
So as you saw I got four of them and they go right here.
So you're gonna have a nice finish for this part of the door.
This one are black, even a little bit chrome but at the end it's still a black.
And they also come with the Subaru logo instead of the STI.
They came in red, black, blue, maybe gold, a lot of colors.
Anyway the links are gonna be down below in the description so feel free to check it out.
And this one are around 3 bucks, 3 euros.
So it's very very cheap.
So they came with a bit of double-sided tape.
I think it could be wise to maybe have some high quality ones, some more.
But I don't have it with me so I'm gonna try with that.
I'm gonna clean just a little bit the part here.
Remove the red part.
It should be good.
And ta-dam!
And now let's install the three other ones.
Okay so if you want to go for this little finishing on the door things,
you should definitely change the double-sided tape for a better one.
And really really clean and degrease the part where you're gonna stick them.
And I think for this one it's gonna be a personal taste thing.
For some it's gonna be a bit too much, a bit cheap, really cheap, not really good looking mod.
And for some it's gonna be a nice addition.
Honestly I will have to see them a few times a bit more and make my mind about that.
But now let's see in this little black box what we have.
And I'm pretty excited about this one.
Okay so this is two pieces.
It's black.
They are LED side markers.
So I don't know if you have them in the US but here in Europe we have side markers.
And there are another turning signal on the front wing of the car.
And as you can see the stock ones are orange with just a bulb on the inside.
And the Aliexpress ones are fully black.
And if you follow the channel, if you know me, this is the TakiFoz.
And I think it could be pretty interesting to go once again for a stealth mod with black,
smoked black side marker.
And plus this one are LEDs.
And you're gonna see this is way different than the stock one.
Let's install them and see how they look.
So to install them it's pretty easy.
You have an arrow here on the OM side markers.
This means you have to push this way to get it out.
You don't even need tools.
Just like that.
And as you can see the stock one is just a basic bulb here.
And we're gonna need the entire connector.
So you're gonna have to unplug them and plug the new smoky black ones.
And LED.
It's plug and play.
And then I'm gonna put it the same way.
Push a bit and put it on.
Yes as you can see the LED design it feels a little bit more recent,
younger and kind of refresh a bit.
The old SF Forester.
When I bought them I thought they were be more in the dark gray.
But here they are really really black.
So they stand out a lot.
But I think it's gonna be a great addition to the TactiFoz.
Going a little bit more into the the stealth look.
Plus the LED thing.
I really love it.
And you know what?
You can tell me guys in the comments down below.
What do you think of all these mods so far?
This one I really like it.
And I'm gonna wait for your feedbacks.
Thanks guys.
And for the fourth Aliexpress cheap mod.
It's in this little cardboard box.
And if you follow the DailyFoz blog you already know what it is.
So we're not gonna wait.
We got a little plastic tool here.
And this is interior LEDs for all the the roof lights.
And I also have some for the license plate lights on the back.
For the install it's pretty easy.
We're gonna pop the plastic with the tool.
There we go.
We have access lights.
Take them out.
And replace them with these ones.
As simple as that.
For this one it's a little bit fun.
Because this light actually never worked since I bought the Forester four years ago.
And now it's working.
And now the fifth.
But actually not the last mod.
Because I got a bonus for you guys.
It's just right there.
These are my Hella horns.
Obviously they are already installed.
I even repainted them in Audi green.
They were red at first.
But I got them from Aliexpress too for around 10 bucks.
10 euros.
So still a pretty cheap mod.
And a mod you have to do when you horn a Subaru.
That's mandatory guys.
And they're just working perfectly.
The paint has faded a bit over the years.
That's why I repainted them.
I also wanted just to change the look of it.
But fake Hella horns.
They actually sound pretty good.
Let me horn a bit.
And they are super loud.
And you actually don't have to put a new relay.
You can use the stock plugs.
And I actually have a video.
An install video of the Hella horns.
I'm gonna let it pop somewhere around here.
So make sure to check it out if you buy some.
Once again, the link is in the description just down below.
And the last very cheap Aliexpress mod is on the inside.
Come on.
Not here.
It's not here.
Maybe here?
No, it's not.
It's right here.
This is my STI shift knob.
So it's a little bit bigger.
And it has the STI logo on it.
And the surface is a little bit smoother.
So I think it's better to handle.
I like it very, very much.
I got it for...
It was actually one of the very first mods I did on the Subaru Forester.
So it's been here for a while.
And still going strong here.
I love it.
It's really cheap.
Under the $10.
Feels good.
And it can be a great mod if you are on a tight budget.
So that's it guys for my top 5.
Actually 6 cheap Aliexpress or Wish mods.
All you have to do now is to pick your favorite.
Tell me in the comments which one it is.
And also get right into the description.
And you have all the links to treat yourself.
You can really do it.
You can even don't tell your wife because it's so cheap.
Just treat yourself.
