Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
Today I'm excited to introduce you guys
to my new series for the month of December,
which is the 12 days of Christmas.
I will be making 12 new videos up until Christmas day,
and they will all be focused and centered around Christmas.
So stay tuned for all those videos
that will be coming over the next couple of days.
But today's video, I am dedicating to making
my own ornaments, all using dollar store items.
And then we will end it by decorating my Christmas tree,
which is going in my bedroom.
So starting with these little embroidery hoops,
I am tracing them over some paper,
and I found this paper at Hobby Lobby for just 25 cents.
Again, I am tracing the size,
and then I'm just going to be hot gluing these to the back.

♪ Standing up close by the Christmas tree ♪
♪ Glimmering light, I am right where I wanna be ♪
♪ I will be home ♪
Once I had that done, I just used little pieces of garland
that I ripped off from a Dollar Tree garland,
and I'm wrapping those around,
and then I'm just going to glue a little clump of berries
into the center.
♪ I got you, oh, I have stopped running ♪
♪ There is no way trying to get you back to me ♪
Now to get my hoop so that this hangs onto a Christmas tree,
I am just hot gluing this into a hoop
on the backside of these ornaments.
♪ Before anything ends ♪
♪ It's Christmas, and some kind of love ♪
This next ornament will require you
to pick up one of these tumbling tower games,
and also some kind of alphabet stamp pad.
I've had this for a long time.
I picked this up off Amazon for $9, I believe.
I will try to have one linked below.
All I'm doing is lightly painting this
with a cream colored paint,
and then I'm going to be stamping
on all of the reindeer's names.
♪ With you ♪
♪ Oh, it's such a charm, got you up in my arms ♪
♪ There's nobody at the door ♪
♪ You said I wish this could last forever ♪
To turn these into ornaments,
I am just cutting up some jute.
I'm going to tie them into little knots
so that there is something for these
to hang on to the Christmas tree.
Now I'm just hot gluing these on to the top.
♪ Choirs will sing and the joy bells will ring ♪
♪ Nobody loves you as much as I do ♪
♪ It's a wonderful feeling from floor to the ceiling ♪
The last thing I'm going to do
is tie some red bows around this with some red jute,
just to add some pop of color.
♪ Outside's now squeezing in ♪
♪ It's just you and me tonight ♪
For this next one,
I just picked up a pack of these gold bells
and I am going to be spray painting them this brown color.
♪ There are people everywhere ♪
♪ Snow is falling white and pretty ♪
♪ As I stroll on my way to you ♪
Using more of this berry garland,
I am just going to hook this through
and again, make some little hoops for these ornaments.
♪ Today, leave this all behind ♪
♪ Go get snowed in somewhere new and bright ♪
♪ I'd rather be somewhere with you ♪
♪ Without TV or phone ♪
♪ Is it wrong for me to want you for my own? ♪
This next one is really simple.
I just picked up a box of gingerbread cookies
and I'm just hot gluing some of the red jute behind it
and then again, tying a bow and gluing that to the top.
♪ Let's go get snowed in ♪
♪ How long could that be? ♪
♪ Being snowed in somewhere new and neat ♪
Okay, for this last one,
this is actually coming from another Dollar Tree video.
So you guys have probably already seen this
but for those who haven't, I wanted to show this again.
So I am going to be making little ornaments with this
using some tan burlap and some red burlap.
For the tan burlap, I just cut these in half
and then I'm just hot gluing these around the candy canes.
And then for the red, I cut them into fourths.
So they're really, really thin
but I am just going to be hot gluing the stripes
onto the candy cane this way.
But I do think it's pretty cool that for just $1,
you know, one pack of six,
you are going to be getting six ornaments for just a dollar.
♪ Snowed in somewhere new and neat ♪
♪ Let's get snowed in somewhere new and neat ♪
Okay, here are all the ornaments.
Some of these are things I picked up from Dollar Tree
just as is, but I wanted everything that I made
to kind of match this theme.
So obviously you're seeing some things that I made
but literally every single thing you see here
is from Dollar Tree, every single thing.
And then I'll be putting these berries everywhere.
So this is the little tree that we will be working with.
It's a six foot tall Christmas tree.
It is not pre-lit.
I actually just use one strand of lights with a hundred bulbs
so it's not very bright, but we like to sleep with this on
so I didn't want it to be too crazy bright.
But anyway, let's get started.
