An overview of the standard cabin in an Escapod Trailers Topo Series teardrop trailer.
All right next up we are going to give you a tour of the cabin so come on over here and I'll go
around the other side. Welcome to your living quarters. So inside here we have a queen-size
bed most notably. For our rental fleet we do have these equipped with sheets, a nice blanket,
two pillows for your use. A few things to note in here for the cabinets all of these latches are
locking. When they're pressed in they're locked and to use them you just pop them out twist to
open. This particular cabinet is designed to nest together with the one below so you can set your
computer here to watch movies if you're trying to escape some bad weather. If it's not terrible
weather and you're feeling a little warm you can use the three-speed fan which we have up above
to operate. The first step is to open the vent and then you simply choose your setting. There are
three speeds so a low, medium, and high. You can also adjust the direction of airflow with this
switch to either have air coming in or as an exhaust to pull the air out of the cabin. When
you're traveling just make sure that you drop that down and that it's nice and tight. As far
as power and lighting we have a light strip behind the bed which is turned on using this remote here.
You simply press the red power button to turn it on and then there are preset brightness settings
so 100% all the way down to 10% and anywhere in between. You'll also notice that we have
some USB charging ports here. The one on the right also gives a voltage reading so this is
giving you a relative indication of how much battery life you have left. And then on the other
side you have another USB port as well as a cigarette lighter port that you can just use
your car charger if that's all you've got with you. Additionally we have some storage behind
the headboard here. For our rentals we keep some camp chairs in there for your use. This is also
where we will keep the hand crank so when you are arriving at camp or getting ready to leave
you'll pull the hand crank out of there to lower those stabilizing feet. Those just lock that in
place. And then finally we have a light switch here which actually operates the exterior dome
lights. One other thing to note would be the windows here. So these do slide up and lock into
place to allow ventilation while you guys are sleeping. That simply drops back down and locks
there. When you're traveling make sure that the window is closed. And then you'll also notice that
this is your lever and latch to get in and out of the trailer. If you want a little extra security
while you're sleeping there is a deadbolt feature. Pretty simple to use.
