How to make DORAYAKI 〜どら焼き〜 | easy Japanese home cooking

In this video, I am showing how to make Dorayaki, a typical Japanese sweets with two small pancake-like patties and filling of Anko, sweet Azuki bean paste. If you don't like Anko or have no access to Anko, Dorayaki can be made with other filling, such as Nutella, chocolate paste, jam and/or cream. This is famous for being the favorite food of Doraemon, a Japanese anime character/robotic cat.

In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.

Ingredients for Dorayaki (two pieces)
Anko (Tsubu-An or Koshi-An) 60-100 g
Batter for the buns:
- Egg 1
- Water 1 Tbsp
- Sugar 2 Tbsp
- Flour 50 g
- Baking powder 1 g
- Honey 1 Tbsp
- Butter (melted) 2-3 g
- Frying oil 1-2 Tsp
