Welcome to part three of our flattened PVC pipe horse bow video. We'll be attaching the siyahs to the bow core.

There are two ways to do this. The first way is to laminate the bow core to the siyahs with epoxy and then wrap the splice with a strong cord soaked in resin. This will dry and bind the siyah to the bow. While this looks really nice, the bow's tips can be easily pulled out or broken if not strung properly, much like a traditional Asiatic composite bow.

The second method is to heat the end of yout PVC pipe and insert the siyah inside of the pipe. The PVC holds on to the end of the siyah, creating through friction alone a strong bond. These tips are more durable but look strange and can be pulled out if the bow is abused.

Make sure that the siyahs are not too small and also make sure the tips are secure before even trying to put pressure on them. If you want to add a little extra insurance, apply epoxy to your siyah and then insert into the bow core.

In the next video we will go over how to test the bow's flex without a tiller, how to fine tune the bow's flex and how to string the bow.

Thanks for watching!
