GERMANY ~ Bad Hersfeld ~ VLOG 237

30 years ago I stepped out of a troop carrier and walked through the gates of the US Army base in Bad Hersfeld Germany, home of the 3rd Reconnaissance Squadron of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (the Blackhorse Regiment)... 3/11 ACR ... known as the Workhorse of the Blackhorse. I spent the next 2 years of my life based there. It was the first time I'd ever been out of North America and the first time I'd ever lived anywhere but the town I was born in. Totally changed the trajectory of my life which echoes to this very day. It's my first time back here since I left 30 years ago and I can't wait to share my memories with Kate.
