Tamarindo is located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica and is a very popular spot for locals and tourists especially those seeking an exceptional beachside vacation. I'm here in beautiful Costa Rica with Jose. Yeah. Respect. What does Pura Vida mean? Tell them, tell my fans what the... Pure life. Pure life. Yeah. Hey my friend, what are you doing? What is this? My name is Antonio, welcome to Costa Rica. Thank you. Tamarindo is best known as a great beach and party spot. It offers easy access to exceptional surf spots so it's popular with both experienced and beginner surfers. Good luck buddy, take care of him. So we're at the local beach, they're trying to get everybody on these boats but it's so strong, it's flipping over the boats. You know how long everybody is here trying to get on these boats right here? Yeah, but the weather is nice. Nice. Jackets. Jackets? Yeah. How much is it? It's a dollar? How much is it? Two dollars. Two dollars? Huh? Two dollars. But you just told me one dollar. This is business. Two dollars. I'm Jamaican you know. I know the game. Thank you. Look at that water. So pure, pure life. This is what pure life is all about. Coconut. Coconut. It's actually sweet my friend. Even though you inflated the price on me, I still bought it. I like to support the locals. This tastes really good. Really? Yeah. He doesn't speak English so he doesn't know what I'm saying but I appreciate you. Thanks for it okay? Bless up. So what's the name of this restaurant again? Lapa Lapa restaurant. Lapa Lapa? Yes sir. And you're the owner? Yes sir. This guy told me that you guys have the best snapper here. Yes sir. And I'm excited to try it. Yeah we're gonna have lunch with you guys today okay? Nice for having us okay? Enjoy the place, enjoy the time. Okay, thanks. We checked out this chilled food spot on the beach and their food was super delicious. I had the fried fish and Chanel had their grilled fish. How is the fish? It's delicious. My fried fish was well seasoned to perfection and fried perfectly. They managed to season this big fried fish to perfection and fried it very good. It reminds me of back home in Jamaica. Zambouké was so delicious. How is it? Here in Costa Rica, trying their Zambouké. I heard it's really good so I had to try it. It's actually sweet. Yeah. It reminds me of guinep in Jamaica. We have a thing called guinep. It reminds me of guinep. It's really sweet baby. It's good right? Really good. So I'm here in Costa Rica. I'm in this store. They only sell munchies items. So if you smoke weed, this is where you get all the munchies right here. Nothing else but candies, chips, sweets and booze. It's all is in this store right here. English? No. And how are you? What kind of store is this? I noticed you guys only sell candies, booze and stuff like that. Such a cool store. It's like a munchies store right? I like it. What's your name? Naida. I'm Rahim. Nice to meet you man. Along the path we ventured to freedom, for what we seek we had no reason. It was a heart whose doubt was fleeting, led us to say, what if we trip, what if we fall, what if we make a mess of it all, what if we throw, hoping in grace we'd be okay. So I'm here with my friend Dembele. My friend Rahim here in Jamaica in town you know in Costa Rica. He said he's from Kingston. I'm from Kingston but I grew up all my life here in Costa Rica. Where in Kingston are you from? From the main Kingston. Main Kingston? Main Kingston people you know okay. This is his little food shop right here. Selling some Jamaican Costa Rican food. He said he's from Main Street in Jamaica. I don't, I've never heard of that street but I guess it's a new street. We're just out here in Costa Rica chilling. It's a nice vibe, nice weather, nice people. And it's so refreshing. Yeah, I had to get some coffee. You know what I noticed about Costa Rica, it's just a little stall. Yeah, even when we're at the restaurant on the beach there's a camera right over a table. Everywhere there's a camera. Yeah, they try to protect the tourists here. It's pretty safe.
