HOW TO MAKE & UPLOAD A CHANNEL BANNER ON iPHONE _ iEditingX

Hey guys! What's up? It's Alisha, and today I'm going to be doing a tutorial on how to make your banner on an iPhone. So I'm not going to really go into a lot of how to make a cute banner, but rather how to actually upload it and prevent it from getting blurry, and also how to make it the right size. So the first thing I'm doing is I'm going into Phonto, and in Phonto I'm going to select plain image. So the reason I'm selecting plain image is that I can bring up whatever color background I want for my thumbnail. So if my video would like to catch up with me, that would be great. Sorry guys, I'm kind of like recording a voiceover over this like video that I took, so it might be a little weird. Anyway, so I'm just going to click plain image here, and then what I'm going to go to do is I'm going to select the white box, select the 2048 by 2048 at the top, and put in a custom size. And my custom size is going to be 2048 by 1152, and this is because this will be the size that- the minimum size that YouTube requires for you to actually upload a banner. So then I'm going to choose my background color, and you can just basically add a photo here, or you can use whatever color you want. So I'm going to go with lavender, and then I'm going to press use. Then what I'm going to do is I'm going to add an item here, and basically there are a bunch of different shapes and stuff, and there's like even like little like banner type things, but this is basically so I know the different area that I'm going- or the area that I'm going to need to take up with my banner, like actually. So I just inserted this rectangle, and then I accidentally deleted it because I'm awesome, but I'm just going to zoom in and resize it so that it is like a little strip in the middle, or narrow strip in the middle, so that I think it's about two of these grid boxes long. Anyways, I'm just going to resize that, and then basically I'm going to select it, press move, and then on the bottom I'm going to press the two different- like to line it up in the middle. Then I'm going to add my text, I editing X, and press done, and then I'm going to line that up in the middle as well. I'm also going to move this into the middle using that hack that I used before, and I'm going to change the size and the font to make sure that it looks cool. So I changed it to Bromelo, and then I even added a stroke here just because I wanted it to look cool. Anyway, I also added a shadow by the way too. Anyway, I'm just going to finish lining this up, and then I'm going to save this to my camera roll. Then what I'm going to do is I'm going to go into Puffin, and in Puffin is basically an app where you don't need Flash Player to do the types of things that you can do on a computer. So I'm going to go into here to my channel, and I'm going to scroll to the top, and I'm going to get my mouse too, which you can press the tabs button, or the three lines, and it will bring it up. So I'm going to press this little pencil that pops up, and go to edit channel art, and in edit channel art- it's going to take a long time to select it because it's not very precise anyway- in channel art it's going to tell you to save or select a photo from your computer, and this is going to be the photo that you actually edited. So I'm just going to press that and select photo library. So this is my photo that I uploaded, and basically I'm going to accidentally delete it again, and I'm going to have to redo it anyway. So I'm just going to upload this again, so you just need to go to select photo, photo library, and then choose the photo you want. Sorry, this is like really annoying. Okay, so once it loads, then you're just going to want to zoom in and make sure that it lines up perfectly for all of the different, like, how it shows up in your channel, and then you're going to press select, but I didn't end up actually pressing select because I don't want to change this to my channel banner because it's kind of ugly. There's also a feature to auto enhance it, but I wouldn't suggest doing that because it might oversaturate your video or make it look bad. But anyway, thank you guys so much for watching!
