HOW TO EDIT LIKE EMMA CHAMBERLAIN ON IPHONE.
Make it on my own, but I don't want to grow up, we can stay forever young.
It's going to video start and you're gonna press edit video and add the video from your camera roll of whatever you want to add your face distortion to.
And a tip for this is to make sure that the video that you have the person is sitting almost center in the video so that it shows up right.
Once you have that you're gonna press make video at the top right corner.
So once it's done processing what you are going to do is you are going to be selecting and splitting the part of the clip that you want for your video where the distortion will be.
So you're gonna scrub over to that and then press edit and then split clip.
And then move it to where you want and press split.
The split button which is in the right corner and then what you're going to do is you're going to do this again by going to where you want pressing edit.
And then going to split scene and pressing split.
Then what you're gonna do is you're going to hover over that section of the clip you want with the little white circle and go to re-effect clip.
Once you're in re-effect clip what you're going to do is press the plus at the bottom right corner.
Go to the search bar and then what you're going to do is look up distortion.
And then you're gonna click on the one that pops up.
Once that comes up what you're going to do is there's going to be this arrow that's pointing upwards and you're gonna click on that.
And then this has all the face distortions that you can use that Emma Chamberlain and Hayley Pham use in their videos.
So this goes back to what I was saying about having it in the center.
It kind of distorts it weird if the person isn't sitting directly in the center of the screen.
But they have a bunch of options anyway for you guys to use if you're choosing to make any distortions in your videos.
So the first thing you guys are going to want to do is just create your movie.
I already loaded this clip into the movie so you guys didn't see my camera roll.
But once you have that what you're going to do is select your clip and then split it at the part that you decide you want to be like the zoom in part of it.
So you're going to make two slits and so I made one here.
And then I'm just going to go to the end of the clip that I want it and split it again.
Then I'm going to select the clip and highlight it in yellow.
And there's this magnifying tool with a plus in the top right corner.
And what I'm going to do is click on that.
And then what I'm going to do is just go to the image and use my fingers to zoom in on the screen that's like shown up right here.
So as you guys can see I'm just zooming in on Hayley's face.
And then when you play it it looks like this.
So to make Emma's intro the first thing you're going to want to do is go to go into Fonto and just choose an image.
I chose one that was 1334 by 750.
And then I changed the color to blue pressed apply and I pressed use.
Once I had that I added the I went to my camera roll and I added the orange splat that I looked up and found online.
And then I added the text saying Emma Chamberlain in the font Johnny Lunchpail which I'll leave a link below.
Then I resized it and I added a bit of a shadow just so that it was easier to see on the page.
And then I resized everything so that it would fit almost the entire image so that it looked like an intro I guess.
So that's what I'm doing here.
And as you guys can see it's a lot of just like moving it around to make sure that orange splat doesn't look super awkward with like Emma's first name.
And then yeah this is basically what I'm doing.
Also if you guys need an alternative font for Johnny Lunchpail like if you can't download it then Spongebob Me Boy is a good option.
The next thing I'm doing is going into iMovie and this is where we're actually going to add sound effects and stuff.
So I'm just going to create a new movie.
And then I'm going to add that image that I just had and press create movie.
Once it loads what I'm going to do is I'm going to turn Ken Burns off.
So basically just kind of pinching the screen and disabling it so that it like fits normally.
And then what I'm doing is I'm going to add audio and then I'm going to add a sound effect.
And I'm going to hit add the golf hit sound effect that she uses in her video.
My iMovie is also taking a really long time to load right now and I'm not sure why.
But yeah golf hit and I'm going to click on that and press use.
And then what I'm going to do is I'm going to shorten the video down so that it's about the length of it.
It's kind of like one second long so I would suggest adding an extra second or two if you want to add transitions.
But this is basically what it looks like and it has the golf hit intro.
So now to make Emma's banner what you're going to want to do is download the font Johnny Lunchpale.
And I'll leave a link below but it's at fontsgeek.com.
So you press I'm not a robot.
Then press zip download and then there's this little green box and click that little blue thing that says clicking here.
Next you're going to open it in Fonto and just press install and you will have your font in Fonto.
Next what you're going to do is you're going to add a plain image that could be your banner size.
You can put the template and then add an item over it in order to have the blue or you can just go ahead and do what I'm doing here.
Press apply and then use this image.
Then once I have that I'm going to add my orange splat which is from my camera roll and I just looked up orange splat PNG to find this.
And then I'm resizing it and putting it in the middle of my screen.
Next what I'm doing is I'm typing Emma Chamberlain and then what I'm doing is changing the font by going,
you can go in the left corner that says font or you can click on font in this menu when you just click on the text and change it to Johnny Lunchpale.
And then I think what I'm going to do is go to style after I'm done rearranging this and I'm going to add a drop shadow to it just so it's more apparent.
But right now I'm rearranging it.
So I go to style, style and then shadow and I changed the alpha to .7 and it was a little blurry.
And then I just rearranged it so that it worked.
So thank you guys for watching this tutorial and I'll see you guys in my next one.
Bye guys!
Bye!
