ChatsWithDocs-Episode30-Part1-Marcin WISNIEWSKI visit

Marcin Wisniewski is a terrifically nice guy. He’s a Maxillofacial surgeon from Warsaw. He has come for 10 days, and during the school holidays… which is typically not the best time to come and visit as I have four young children, who are all at home from school. Nonetheless, he wants to explore Sydney, and find out about jaw surgery… the biggest problem being, that I live in Newcastle, and I haven’t been to Sydney since COVID started over two years ago. We have organised quite a few patients, but essentially COVID did change everything. The biggest change was that we mostly see people online, and treat them only in hospitals. Anyway, I’ve planned a 4WD camping trip (not sure if he will like this, as he is used to apartment living in Poland), and exploring the Hunter Valley, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle City, Nelson Bay, and finally Sydney Harbour (and city) too… where we can stay and sleep in Little Bay… and not far from where captain Cook first set foot on dry land in Australia. I have not edited or redacted anything. It’s just me picking up my iPhone and taking photos and videos as things progressed over 10 days. Language was a problem, but I don’t speak Polish, and Marcin tried really hard listening and speaking in English… it appears he is on his phone a lot, but he also has his own life which he successfully keeps on track back at home. If anyone wants to seek Marcin out in Poland to do IMDO, please do so. He’s a really talented surgeon in his own country. This is part 1 of Episode 30 of chats with docs
