
What do kids with overbites really need?
Having an overbite really means having a small jaw.
Why do we have overbites and crowded Teeth and small jaws anyway? And why do we still think that visiting the dentist is all we need to do?
This talk was given to the International Association of Implant Dentistry, hosted by Arun Garg. Arun is the author of "Dermal Fillers", a fabulous new book, printed through Quintessence USA, Chicago. The online was conference was held over June 2-4 through Miami, Florida. My talk introduced my own book "6Ways to Design a Face", and the conpcets of IMDO, GenioPaully, custom BIMAX, SARME, Super BIMAX and custom PEEK Jawline implants.
The essence of the talk was to talk on the nature of small jaws, and of the role of modern orthoganthic sugery in introducing new surgical methods to treat the condition of glossoptosis, as well as of dental crowding, malocclusion, and the facial effects of small jaws.
The talk was given by Paul Coceancig, and is intended as a professional talk, using the new online medium of videography to present clinical methodologies, classifications and practice in this brave new world of modern orthoganthic surgery, and its application to obstructive sleep apnea treatment (OSA).
