Sunday Morning Routine | Simple Cake with Eggs, Milk, Flour | Winter in the Mountains | Slow Living

Sundays are days to spend with family and take some rest from the busy days of the week. I prefer to do most of homemaking on Saturday, so that we have this day free to enjoy more time together.
Today, I prepared the most simple and delicious cake to take with us. We visited the mountains to see some snow, because we didn't have any in our area this year. It was lovely, but very cold, so I lit the fire as soon as we returned home. A quick little tidy and then I started cooking!

Simple Cake with Eggs, Milk and Flour

Ingredients
250 gramms of self raising flour
200 grams of sugar
125 gramms of butter
2-3 eggs
130 ml milk
Vanilla extract

Mix the butter (You can melt it to fasten the process), add sugar gradually and the eggs one by one. Let them mix for 2-3 minutes, then add the milk, the vanilla extract and the flour gradually. When all the ingredients are well mixed together, put in a cake pan after you put butter and flour in it (You can see in the video how to do it). Preheat the oven and bake in medium heat for an hour. Do not open the oven until the cake is baked. Use some melted white chocolate for icing or some icing sugar.
