It is an area that I spend about 85% of my day So I really love making sure this area is tidy clean comfortable and very inviting so I'm really excited to show you guys what it is that I have been updating things that I have recently purchased and just give You guys a fresh take on the summer. I hope you guys are all having any fantastic summer season without further ado Let's get into this video So the first update I did for my living room space was I brought in these beautiful wicker baskets from Target This space was craving some warmth and some texture I obviously have the console table and I do have the mantle behind it that bring in that warmth aspect But I really wanted to play off of some texture which you guys will kind of understand in a minute Why I decided to bring it to this space Like I said, these baskets are from Target and I think they just make such a great impact on this living room area The second update I did to my living room was I updated my gallery wall was time to add a suede to our gallery wall So I updated some family pictures I brought in a picture of sway when she was in her six-month photo shoot as well as a really intimate photo of her and I at her nine months So it was time to update our gallery wall to be present and to add the new edition of mrs. Sway A new place a new home for a while. Let me feel alive Nothing to hold me back take my time just enjoy the bride I know man passing by life is good best I've ever felt Get me up The next big update was bringing some new fresh pillows to my sectional sofa I did do a video recently on my channel kind of just giving you guys a haul and different tips and tricks on styling your Pillows, but this space was really craving some new fresh pillows. I brought in some color. I brought in texture I brought in different shapes and I just love how this turned out for my space And yeah Everything will be linked down to the description box if there's something that you see that you want to check out for yourself This was the next big I know I'll be okay cuz I found my way Cuz I found my way The next update was bringing in this beautiful floor lamp that was from the newest line from Suda McGee's June 26 summer release. I love this lamp. I think this is such a chic just floor lamp. It's a great take I think it was about a hundred forty five dollars. I originally wanted the brass it was sold out So I did get the black but I love this little space. That is a kind of work in progress I do want to do a side table and a few pictures behind this accent swivel chair But this was another really fun update to my living room space. Just adding some layered lighting And The biggest update for my space is I added sheer curtains all the way around to just frame out our windows and to add Just some beautiful warmth and texture to this space I think it softens my windows a lot and I'm just super pleased with these these curtains are from Amazon I found an amazing seller that is just super professional. They are custom with the custom length Whatever you need they are super amazing to work with so I will leave all their information down below So this was a really big update that we recently did and I'm just super pleased with how it turned out The rods are from Home Depot The curtains are from Amazon and the curtain rings are from Amazon as well And before I have someone say like why didn't you hang your curtains higher we do have the beams that Act as an obstacle so we are only able to go so high with the curtain panels and I did want to leave some space between the beam and The pole that way it wasn't just right on top of one another but I'm still really pleased with how this space has come out Passing by life is good best I've ever felt Get me up so ending so where I can't find myself Oh, I feel I feel I feel I feel so As I reach out reach out reach out reach out to the sky I found my way. I found my way Can you say hi for YouTube Everybody this is ammo. This is my 90-pound pitbull. He's super fierce Huh? Are you super fierce? Hello. I'm trying to film dude The next update is just a few decor pieces starting with these stems. How amazing are these? These are faux and they are from Amazon. I Love these. I don't know. I think they're supposed to be a ficus stem. I will link them down below But I just love how simple they are. There's only you guys can see there's only three stems within that vessel and it makes such a Beautiful just simple styling moment So that is new and then these amazing candlestick pillars are from Kathy koa brand This is in a beautiful brass. If you look closely, they're all different They're all kind of a different shape all different sizes, and I just love how they all pair together Nicely, I love bringing in some warmth here just because this sideboard is darker So I love bringing in a little bit of warmth just to break up all the tones But that was another really fun new decor piece that I recently picked up again from Kathy koa My way The next biggest update to my kitchen are these amazing counter stools from restoration hardware These are the Adrian counter stool. They do come in two different colorways They come in this dark wood with the light woven seat and back seat And then they also come in a lighter wood with the same wicker, but I just love this for texture and warmth I wanted to bring in more warmth to my space to play off of my beams on my ceiling and You will understand now why I decided to bring in that wicker basket over here on the console table So that way they kind of balance each other I have the wicker from my console table and then I have the wicker from my counter stools as well So that way it all makes sense and everything flows nicely, but I am obsessed with these They are so beautiful. I'm just in love with these and I just think they make such a great statement to my kitchen So I also brought in this new kitchen runner. This is from ruggable I this is my first ruggable that I've ever owned This is an area that gets so much foot traffic that I do not care to spend That much money on a rug because I know it is just gonna get thrashed But I was really drawn to this pattern and I just love the color of it I think it brings in the warmth from my new counter stools I think it brings in the warmth from my flooring as well as it brings in the black aspect From the hardware and my pendant lights, but I'm really enjoying this rug thus far. I have yet to wash it I've heard they get a little funky when you wash them So right now I'm just sticking to just a nice good old vacuum and then a couple of other little fresh updates I decided to bring in some of my favorite herbs here I just put them in some of my vintage vessels So I have some basil and then I have some rosemary that I do pull from when I am cooking So I just thought that was kind of a fresh take on summer bringing in some fresh herbs to my counter space And then I also brought in this little styling moment. I am obsessed with this This is very similar to the pedestal that I had on Amazon that I actually did recently purchased because it went on sale This is from Magnolia home But I just did a kind of styling moment here with some of my cooking books and some fresh lemon and olive stems And just have it sailed here right next to my stovetop So I'm really excited with how this space as well turned out And the very last kind of home decor item that I recently picked up was this amazing Travertine riser it is a solid piece of travertine that is meant for decor styling purposes And this is from Cathy Co as well I will leave all the information down below, but I recently just got this beautiful travertine riser, which is extremely popular right now We're seeing a ton of travertine as a new trend We're seeing and I also got those beautiful brass candle pillars that I will also link below But that is the last update of this video. All right guys, and that is it for today's video I hope you enjoyed coming into my living room and kitchen space to see some of the Summer updates that I have done recently here in my home.
