Random Act of Kindness Collab | Paying It Forward At Burger King

It's gonna be awesome. I'm super psyched. I'm really kind of nervous about it, but whoo We're gonna bless some people today with some Burger King Hey guys, it's Justine with Debt Free Millennials the channel for all things Millennial and money and how to live a debt-free life Be sure to hit that subscribe button so you never miss another video from me I was recently invited to do a collab video with a bunch of youtubers on random acts of kindness So budget girl was kind enough to invite me into this collab. Be sure you check out Everybody's videos where we are spreading some love brightening people's lives with just simple random acts of kindness and the whole point of this collaboration is To inspire people like you to do something in your community. It can be a little thing It can be a huge thing But whatever it is know that you're making an impact in somebody's life So I got to thinking about what I wanted to do for my random act of kindness video And I'm really kind of nervous about it because I've never done anything like this before let alone filmed it So I am actually going down to the Burger King And I am going to use money from my fun money envelope This is an envelope of cash that I have saved over time Just from random things that I'll sell on buy sell apps or if I have extra pocket change that I just want to put aside for Something that I want to spend money on and instead I'm going to use everything inside of this cash envelope To buy people's meals at Burger King today, so I'm like freaking out, but let's count How much cash is actually in here? All right, so I got I have $85 inside of my envelope, and I'm gonna use it Hopefully nobody figures out that it's me going down to Burger King and paying for their meals I kind of want to keep it anonymous and somehow film it as well, so let's find out how we're gonna do this It's gonna be awesome. I'm super psyched. I'm really kind of nervous about it, but whoo We're gonna bless some people today with some Burger King So I'm literally right next door to the Burger King right now and for some reason San Diego got a freak amount of rain Right now which is much needed. I feel like this is God's way of saying hey, you're gonna bless some people in the city I'm now going to bless the city with you, so I love the rain It's gonna make for some interesting footage, but I'm so nervous right now. You have no idea my heart is pounding like a mile Hundred miles a minute, so let's go do this What did you think of the experience Okay well Let's just that's awesome actually leave that dollar out because I'm just gonna take this envelope You can keep the change and you were so awesome helping me, so I wanted to give you this Yeah, so I Hope you have a really good Christmas Happy holidays. Thanks so much for helping me out Okay, so I just got done at Burger King probably spent about an hour Maybe more sitting around filming people. It was so incredible We had people of all different ethnicities languages Just so many different people who were actually ordering off of the value menu more than anything else so a lot of the orders were anywhere from like two to five dollars a piece, so I was talking to the The cashier who was serving everybody and I asked him How many people we had served with the money that I gave him 85 bucks, and he said that we had served 35 to 40 people whoo this emotional high from the past hour and a half, but 35 to 40 people and I'm sorry for the camera shake because I'm just so excited about Seeing everybody's reactions, and it was just incredible I I almost got ousted twice because people were looking at me like oh Why does she have her camera out and I convinced most people that I? Do social media for Burger King? and I even recorded one guy's reaction who asked me if it was me who contributed the money and I I Denied it, and I just asked him would he want to make a comment on camera, so take a look It's so random that I like here Thank you So I convinced him that I was the social media coordinator for Burger King And I was like oh, it's a happy accident that I was here I just it feels weird doing these types of videos because I don't Necessarily, I've never done one of these before but it's just been an incredible experience This definitely got me out of my comfort zone in terms of going to some random place And I actually the Burger King that I went to Is frequented by a lot of low-income? People a lot of homeless people so it was just Really eye-opening for me to be in that environment and a lot of people just came up to me and started chitchat and as we Were waiting in line to get food You know just standing around waiting for our number to get called and that was just really incredible so Thank you so much for letting me be part of this random act of kindness I think I hope it encourages you to do something for the community that you may be a part of something bigger than yourself and That you bless somebody this holiday season or whatever time of year it may be I Also want to give a shout out to Marlon Marlon. You are the man you were running your butt off you were changing out the trash cans you were placing food orders you were Talking to people in English and Spanish and just kind of shifting back and forth I know a lot of people do that, but still like to be in that fast-paced fast food environment It was just incredible to see how you treated everybody very equally and fairly And that was really cool because no matter what their background was or what they looked like you actually Treated them with the same Love and respect that you would to anybody I don't even know you like that but it just was really cool to see how committed you were to Making sure they got their food on time and taking their order and listening to them your patience is just incredible So Marlon's manager if you are listening And you're watching get this guy a raise he needs a raise So I really appreciate you Marlon for keeping my secret and telling everybody this was a random act of kindness You you rock you are awesome. I hope you have an incredible Christmas this year.
