Romanticizing autumn | How to find joy during gloomy seasons – calm aesthetic fall vlog
“I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”
― L. M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
To tell the truth, this famous quote doesn’t resonate with me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve never liked autumn. I was simply indifferent at best, but more often than I’d like to admit, this season evoked constant irritation in me.
I found it really hard to understand numerous autumn lovers with their deep appreciation for all things pumpkin spice and fallen leaves aesthetics. However, a couple of years ago, I decided to do my best to change this negative attitude.
Let’s be honest, I still can’t call myself the biggest fan of autumn. Nevertheless, I learned to find beauty in this season by being more open and mindful.
It all starts with an intention. That’s why I spare time to think which fall-related activities I can look forward to once summer surrenders to autumn.
By no means, it’s a strict to-do list. Just autumn-inspired “nice-to-haves” and little traditions to brighten up upcoming months.
In this aesthetic silent vlog, I share fall activities that help romanticize autumn and find joy even in the least favorite season.
I also share the recipe for an amazing pie with pears and dark chocolate in this autumn vlog. Here’s the ingredients list:
- 2 pears
- 2 eggs
- 70g of sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 110g of flour
- 1 hipped tbsp of cocoa powder
- 5g of baking powder
- 1tsp of vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 70 ml of greek yogurt
- 60g of dark chocolate
