Directing a Chocolate Commercial with Slow-Mo Robots!

What is up, party people? We are backstage and behind the scenes on my Kinder Bueno shoot, Cole Gets Bueno. We've been working on this thing for almost a year. COVID got to it three times. We had to cancel it, but we are finally here. I am so excited. We're doing six digital spots, most of them starring me, most of them directed by me. It's a lot going on today. I'm gonna be jumping in front and behind the camera. We've got an awesome stand-in that we're gonna set up a shot and then we'll switch. I'll jump in and I'll do it. Tons of high-speed stuff, tons of throwing chocolate. I'm super excited. So get ready to see how we're gonna make a whole bunch of Kinder Bueno commercials. Let's go. Action. And three, two, one, action. Far away. It could be sooner, yeah, sooner and then more direct to camera. Three, two, one, action. That's pretty, that's pretty good. All right, we are rehearsing take two right now. We have confetti, two bites, a jump spin, a slow-mo shot. It's a complicated situation, but we're figuring it out. Three, two, one, camera. A lot of confetti. So guys, let's prep the confetti. Let's prep the cannon. Three, two, one. Guys, let's go ahead and sweep it up, please. Guys, thank you for a tremendous day one. Fantastic, guys. Good work, everybody. Thank you so much. All right, guys, welcome back. Day two, here we are. Word is, we are serving Cafe Corleone at Craft Services. So I'm gonna go get my first coffee of my own coffee. Oh, look at this. Hello. Hello, how's it going? Good, how are you? Pretty good. I hear you're serving my coffee. Of course. I love it. Iced Americano? Thank you. Here we go. First Cafe Corleone on set. Delicious. Oh, that is good. Here it goes. So one of the coolest things about this shoot was how absolutely ginormous this machine was to break Kinder Bueno bars, and it was the coolest thing ever. Yeah, all right. Cut there. On the way down, but as long as you're 90, when you go up, roll, and then you go down. Figuring it out. So the whole time we were working on the big psych, it was an entire team of people building a bedroom on another stage. So when day three rolled around, we were ready to shoot in this gorgeous bedroom. And let's roll sound. And I think we'll just be sort of like this way to reveal the bowl and me at the desk.
