2019 Lamborghini Aventador S: Start Up, Exhaust, Walkaround and Review

What's up everybody and welcome back to the channel in today's video I've made my way to lamborghini charlotte where i'm going to take a look at the 2019 lamborghini aventador s Huge thank you to lamborghini charlotte for providing this car for today's video They have a huge selection of all the brand new lamborghinis They get a ton of brand new ones in stock all specced out really nicely So definitely check out the link to their website down in the description below. I also have linked their instagram So definitely check them out And the model that we're looking at today is finished off in rosa mars and with options msrp is around $472,000 Underneath the engine compartment. This features a six and a half liter naturally aspirated 12 cylinder engine It cranks out 740 horsepower and 507 pound feet of torque The engine is only paired to the seven speed single clutch automated manual transmission Sends the power to all four wheels also equipped with all wheel steering and with a curb weight around 3500 pounds You can expect to get 0 to 60 in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 217 miles an hour The overall wheelbase is 106.3 inches with an overall length of 188.8 inches Excluding the mirrors we get a width of 79.9 inches and then overall height of 44.7 Given the mid-mounted engine layout This also has a 43 57 weight distribution bias towards the rear end And not that gas mileage is too important for a supercar like this You can expect to get 9 miles per gallon around town with 15 on the highway This features carbon ceramic disc brakes in all four corners measuring 400 millimeters up front with 38 millimeter thickness We also get six piston brake calipers up front for the rear We get 380 millimeter diameter with 38 millimeter thickness and then there are four piston calipers in the rear This car has an optional set of forged wheels finished off in gloss black They're a split six spoke design measuring 9 by 20 up front and 13 by 21 in the rear All wrapped in a pirelli p0 summer tire for the first time in its class The Aventador S offers a unique combination of front end active steering as well as all wheel steering It's called lamborghini dynamic steering and then the lamborghini rear wheel steering Basically under high end turning the wheels go in the same direction front and rear to help lengthen the wheelbase So the car can make a smoother turn and then in slower speeds The wheels will actually turn in the opposite direction to effectively shorten the wheelbase to make parking lots and other slow speed maneuvers much easier The Aventador S is the next generation following up the original Aventador model This actually has 130 percent more front end downforce with the new design and also pumps out 40 more horsepower than the original The front end has a super sharp appearance You can see the extended lower splitter finished off in matte black giving it a clean look The rosa mars continues throughout the center of the lower portion of the bumper We even have a functional air inlet vent underneath that you can see the center matte black portion helps guide air around to the sides Of the bumper to allow maximum cooling to the front mounted radiators We get a sharp fin on each side of the front bumper giving a super aggressive look Then leading our way up to the led headlights with daytime running lights and then four parking sensors up front The boot lid flows right off of the front bumper helping give the car a sharp appearance We have little winglets on each side of that giving it a sharp look The front fenders flow nicely around the black wheels and give it a rounded appearance while also making the car very angular Body color side mirrors also feature the sharp design and then if you look on the whole side profile of the car Very proportional looking a lot of sharp lines in it a very prominent one in the upper section of the door panel And then a somewhat curved line leading its way to the massive vents in front of the rear wheels We also get matte black side skirts to follow the theme like the front end had A functional air vent in the front of the side skirt as well as a functional air vent in the rear of it And then on top of the rear fender arches We can see massive intakes for more air to get inside the engine to help keep this v12 cool We have a large one on the top and then beneath the next piece of body color paneling We have another one and then a third one in the matte black vent We get the transparent engine cover so you can have a good look at the v12 engine Along with some of the cross bracing and the rear suspension We have the active rear spoiler currently in the up position more matte black trim in the center of the bumper Helping distinguish this from the standard event door We have a massive rear diffuser more parking sensors the center mounted exhaust tips as well as some fins in the lower portion of the diffuser This also features a rear view backup camera right below the lamborghini logo We have led taillights with the classic y design giving it a sharp appearance And then a massive amount of mesh in the rear bumper to help extract as much heat as possible So that is a good look at the outside of the lamborghini events door s also taking a look at some of the specifications Of it. This thing is an all-wheel drive v12 naturally aspirated monster sub 3 seconds 0 to 60 The styling is amazing pretty much. No other car on the road looks like this car comparing the s to the original event store design They did a fantastic job Just updating the car not to say the old one ever looked old But with the s you can see so many new features to it, especially in the lower portion of the front bumper The little shark fins really give it a great look really makes the car very menacing looking We have a lot of sharp angles all around the overall car flows So nicely also get a great look at a black one next to it, but the car is super proportional all around It just has that classic supercar look giant engine in the rear all-wheel drive single clutch gearbox This thing is all about the drama all about the flair and of course being lamborghini's flagship supercar I think you cannot go wrong with how good the event store looks To go ahead and take a look at the interior We can take the key fob go ahead and hit the unlock button This is an electronic door with a little button inside this handle and the door rises up This spec is finished off in black leather. We also have a lot of red leather accents everywhere We have the lamborghini embroidered up top in red stitching more red stitching throughout the seats with the quilted diamond pattern Carbon fiber along the door sill as well as a vent door written out The door panel is finished off in more black leather We have red accents on it red stitching and some black stitching as well We have your grab handle right on the left side lock unlock all your mirror controls Then making our way inside the vehicle black leather steering wheel with more red stitching and some piano black accents And then keeping my foot on the brake we can open up this flap and start it up Yeah And then sitting in the driver's seat you have a very aggressive view out you have a really long window There's a window in front of each side mirror to get a little bit better visibility large side view windows You can see the v12 engine sitting behind you not too bad view out over your right shoulder Especially having the transparent engine cover and then looking over your left shoulder. You can see a pretty good view out This car also has a full leather headliner. We have some stitching on it as well as some red accents Along the steering wheel we have controls on the left side to scroll through the left menu We can go through your am fm radio You can see the menu with the timing the date and the temperature just hitting mode again We can go to the telephone and then over on the right side We have bluetooth and audio controls scrolling up and down for your volume on the left side of the steering wheel We have your automatic fog lights as well as more headlight controls and the dimming Black leather and red stitching find its way on the entire top end of the dashboard very sharp appearance I love the red accents. We have lamborghini logo over on the right side of the dash More air vents in the center and then to take a look at the digital instrument cluster in the center We have a large tack in the center as well as your gear You have temperatures over on the right and your fuel level more temperatures on the left side as well And then going to the center of the car where we can control the different driving modes We have strata sport corsa and then an ego mode if we go over into corsa mode Which is the full-on race mode actually changes the whole dash. We now have a large center tag Your gear in the center as well as all the way up to seventh and reverse some more information over on the right side To actually activate the gear you put your foot on the brake hit the right paddle shifter That'll go into first gear and then going into neutral You actually pull both of them at the same time and to go in reverse You have the button over here as well as a toggle for manual and automatic This does have very large steering column mounted paddle shifters They have a great look to them and a great feel have a nice sharp edge So you get a lot of grip on them no matter where your hand is on the steering wheel And then going back into strata mode. We'll show you the differences with the gauges You can see it get back to a more traditional look in the center of the dash We have the whole navigation configuration. You can control it using these center buttons right here You can scroll left and right you can press this and then you can use these shortcut keys to click various things on each corner Of the screen so by hitting nav We're in the navigation screen and then we can hit map which is the lower right corner Hitting that we get the map that actually pops right up then hitting the other buttons We can go into car to see different settings You can change a lot of the parking sensors the windshield wipers all sorts of different things We have a setup icon we can change a few things for bluetooth audio and other things like that Your radio media and then other items then to go ahead and put the car in reverse my foot on the brake The parking sensors will come up in the center screen You can see the front and rear sensors doing what they need to do and then in the center of the vehicle the parking camera Comes up and then if I turn the wheels the different guidelines will change as well And then below the screen we have a bunch of different toggle switches These are your window controls pulling this back will make the window go up pushing it down. The window goes down They are automatic We have the front end lift system traction control hazards and then your parking sensors and this does have the engine on off feature We have more climate control settings in the center your different drive modes the engine start stop button And then all the buttons to control the actual nav system the buttons down below we already touched on We have a nice little pad right here to put a phone And then we do have a little bit of storage a 12 volt and a usb This car also does have a cup holder in the back with a storage net and some storage behind the seats And then over on the passenger side you can open this up Have a pretty good amount of space for a glove box You can fit some items back in there and we can get a good look at the interior Definitely a fantastic looking interior with all the materials and the color accents Then you go ahead and open the door to get out. You just put your fingers in the slot It opens the window a little bit and then by pulling this lever up The door automatically opens and then you go ahead and look at the front storage compartment You can just pull this lever right here that opens right up and there is a little lever You can press to open this up We have a little divider in here as well a cargo net actually a pretty decent amount of space for being such a large Mid-engine vehicle if you do take this piece out, you actually do have a ton of space in here So it's not too bad for the layout of the car Now take another look at the interior from the passenger side go ahead and press the same button Door opens right up the traditional v12 scissor doors for all the lamborghini models Beautiful interior the craftsmanship the attention to detail and the overall styling Absolutely second to none the leather work very high quality feeling leather super soft feeling these seats are in a great position It's really comfortable actually sitting in the car bolsters seem to do a really good job You have a lot of lumbar support as well These are electronic reclining and then in the front of the seat there is a manual lever You can pull to slide these forward and back you can get a good look at how the door still looks with the door release Handle more leather finds its way on the lower portion of the dashboard And then taking another look at all the toggles beneath the screen The front end lift is a great option to have really makes this car usable for some daily driving And then to take another look at the rear storage behind the seats There's a little handle behind the seat. You can just squeeze that fold the seat up You can see what kind of storage we're dealing with back here Not too bad to fit some smaller briefcases or something like that I like this little trim piece right here to keep things from sliding and the net as well Then the seat will just fold back into place Well guys that sums up a full look inside and out and a really good exhaust lip of the lamborghini aventador s huge Thank you once again to lamborghini charlotte for providing this car for today's video This is a beautiful spec inside and out cannot get over the amazing sound the attention to detail the craftsmanship Everything about this car.
