So when it came time to deciding what I wanted to do in the family room,
every time I think about fall,
like the first thing that comes to mind are porches.
I feel like there's literally nothing better than a beautiful fall porch,
you know, with the corn stalks and the hay bales and all the pumpkins.
And honestly,
I feel like it's a little sad because we only get to enjoy the porch as we're
walking into the house.
But my thought was what if I could bring my porch in now?
I don't think I'm going to put any hay bales out because I already know my child
will just rip through that.
But I was thinking if I just did like pumpkins everywhere,
I do want to bring in some corn stalks. In fact,
we grew corn in our garden specifically so that I could use the corn stalks for
my fall decor, but I haven't trimmed them yet.
And so they're still very green.
So I think eventually I'm going to put some corn stalks in here around the
fireplace again to give it that front porch vibe.
So I'm really excited to see how this turns out.
I have a million pumpkins to work with. I have a lot of real pumpkins,
a lot of faux pumpkins, and my idea is to kind of mix them together.
So you don't really know what's real and what's not because some are real,
some are fake. Also, I saw a ton of those beautiful,
colorful pumpkins at Walmart.
They're only $6.97 and there's some that are really big, you know,
the light greens, the pastel colors, the dark greens, um,
the white pumpkins, all of those really cool, different colored pumpkins.
Honestly, I think that's the cheapest I've seen them.
And I really haven't seen them anywhere else.
If you need some colorful pumpkins, head to Walmart.
They also have big orange ones and those are a little bit cheaper.
