Say hello to the 2022 Subaru Forester Limited. MSRP of $39,295. Let's check out the front end.
Certainly a very popular model for Subaru is the Forester and with the SUV market just taking off
here in North America, this is definitely on your crossover and SUV shopping list here. This is the
Limited model. It's going to come with quite a few features on the front end like this blacked out
hexagonal front grille. We have our LED steering responsive headlights. You have the automatic
headlights with the high beam assisted. As we move along to the side, two-tone, five-spoke,
machine-finished aluminum alloy rims and then it's going to come with LED turning accents on our
mirror. We have these nice roof rails, great for the outdoors. If you're kind of that weekend warrior
type, this is a good option for you because you have a little bit of luxury here with the Limited
package and then you have the outdoor kind of theme here. Roof rails, you can add a pitch tent,
utility racks, snowboard racks. You're going to get Subaru symmetrical all-wheel drive and you
can tell right by the badging is in chrome. Backup camera, rear parking sensors as well.
Let's check out the inside. Before we check out the interior, I just want to say a special thanks
to my friends at Subaru of Niagara for providing us with the Subaru. We're going to link their
website in the description below and check them out if you guys have questions if you're in the
Niagara region and you want to inquire about any of the Subarus that you see on their website.
Let's take a look at the inside here. Comfortable seat right when I notice when I get in. This is a
nice eight-way power adjustable driver's seat. You get the lumbar support as well.
Very, very comfortable. Two memory positions for the seat. You have the heated front seats. You
have the heated wheel as well. So a lot of creature comforts. This Limited comes with
this nice leather appointed seat. We have white stitching and the contrast stitching throughout.
So one thing that Subaru does well is everything just has a nice little sporty look. That's what
I like about them. Look at this guy's eight-inch infotainment system here. Backup camera comes on
automatically when you put it in reverse. And you have those guidance lines. GPS navigation.
Nice responsive touchscreen here. You can go back and do your Subaru Starlink. So that's
going to give you a ton of features that you can control right from your phone when you connect it.
You can do like your climate control, remote starter, lock, unlock, check your oil levels,
and things like that. Lots right from the Subaru Starlink. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay are going
to come on so you can plug your phone in and use all your favorite apps. Obviously, you get the
Bluetooth for the phone. Once you connect your device, you make calls, answer calls, a ton of
things you can do. Let's talk about the power plan here. Under the hood, this one's going to come with
182 horsepower. It's a 2.5 DIG Subaru boxer engine. It's going to give you about 175 pounds-feet of
torque. 39 mpg in the city or 9 liters per every 100 kilometers for fuel economy. 1500 pounds towing,
so still can tow a small load. And 39 mpg on the highway or 7.2 liters per every 100 kilometers
in the city. Let's jump in the back here and see how this feels. I like the leather finishes all
throughout. Dual map pockets. That's something that I haven't really seen a lot. You got a couple
different spots for your phones, for your books, two USBs, heated rear seats coming on this Limited.
So quite a few bells and whistles. Let's check out the trunk. When you get the Limited, you also get
the power liftgate, so that's going to open up. And then the guys at Subaru of Niagara also had the
rubber mat here for the trunk protector. You have a little bit of hidden storage right above your
spare tire there. And then you have the lever controls for the seats. So look at that. One
push and they fold down. And this is what I love about these crossovers, is the flat storage surface.
So you have a nice flat storage area to fit those large items. When you're going in reverse in your
Subaru, what are you? You are a bus. Lots of technology in this thing. You're gonna get the
driver focus and you'll also get the Subaru eyesight. So you'll get things like driver
distraction, mitigation system. You'll get the advanced reverse automatic braking. You'll get the
advanced cruise control, traffic control, vehicle dynamic control, adaptive cruise control. Like
there's so many. Lane centering assist, lane keeping assist. You'll get the lead vehicle start
alert and you'll get the pre-collision braking and the throttle management with all those features.
So quite a few cool features. Let's see how it drives. It's quiet on the engine. Like I like how
quiet it is. A little quieter than its little cousin the Crosstrek. Like this is very popular
for Subaru. SUVs are very popular. It's a competitive class and I think they have a little
bit of this kind of like weekend warrior off-road market. But what people are looking for in this is
safety, comfort. The safety features are just going off the wall here with these. It comes with so many
safety features. I just mentioned them all. So that's really a nice positive. Acceleration-wise
like it takes off well. Like that's a good little push there out of the gate. A few different drive
modes. You have the X mode, drive modes. A couple different drive modes. So what do you guys think?
Like have you guys driven this before? Do you guys like how it drives? Have you guys test
driven them? Comment below your guys thoughts because as always we love hearing from you guys
