Musical Bottles is Sound Science

There are a variety of ways for making sounds from ordinary glass and plastic bottles and has been a favorite of students for years, here are a few additional activities to investigate about the sounds made by either striking the bottle to make it ring or blowing across the mouth (Helmhotlz resonator) to make sound by vibrating the air inside the bottle, either way it is an investigation that anyone can make.
