DIY Fireplace Mantel Makeover | 49
Today, on Workshop Edits, my wife and I are tackling a pretty straightforward fireplace upgrade by giving it a fresh coat of white paint to match our home and building and installing an L-shaped reclaimed beam for our mantel. The beam is over 150 years old and salvaged from a barn teardown in Indiana. My family is originally from there, so it makes for an even cooler story to take something this old and find new life for it.
