Hey there! Welcome to my channel and to my home for another decorating video.
Today I am finally setting up my new coffee bar that I've been talking about
the past few videos here with you and I'm so excited to share it with you and
just take you through the decorating process. It is a small corner of my home
so this may be a short and sweet video but anytime I decorate a space in my
home I like to share it here with you. So that is what I'm going to be doing
today and I'm just really looking forward to it because I know that this
small space is going to be something that I enjoy every single day. Plus it's
a really great little nook that I will be able to decorate for the different
holidays and different seasons and just get to give myself and those who come
over and enjoy my home a bit more of a seasonal experience and I'm all about
seasonal living so I really love when I can incorporate little things like this
into my home. Before we get started I just want to say a quick thank you for
choosing to spend a little bit of your time here with me on YouTube today. I
hope you enjoy decorating with me. So let's do it! Let's get to decorating! If
you went thrifting with me a few videos ago then you know I was looking for a
vintage piece for this space. I found one that I thought would work but after
coming home and thinking about it looking at my space a little bit more I
decided to pass on that piece for a couple of reasons. One, I thought the
price was a little high. It was listed at $7.25 before taxes and that was just
more than I was really looking to spend on this piece of furniture and the piece
itself was taller than what I had been imagining or wanting for this particular
area. I knew that I was going to put these really beautiful Magnolia home
shelves above so that I could have some storage and a space to decorate above my
coffee bar and I just didn't want something that tall so I decided to pass
on that piece. I ended up finding something at Wayfair I'm really really
happy with. I love the piece that I found. It isn't vintage but it is
beautiful and it checked all of my boxes, everything I wanted. It's the right
height, it's the right width, it has three drawers, so great storage. It's a
beautiful color. The wood ended up matching perfectly with my wood trim
around the opening in this space. Also one thing I loved about this piece is
that it actually is intended I believe to be a nightstand or a side table so it
has the option to plug something in right to the back of it. It has a USB and
a USB-C so I could plug in a rechargeable lamp if I wanted to right
here which I'll probably do in the future and I can plug my coffee maker
right into the back of this piece of furniture so I'm not dealing with cords
and trying to run things to a plug. It's really really nice. That was something
great about this piece. I will have this linked on my YouTube shop if you are
interested in something like this and then of course I have these beautiful
shelves above. These are from Magnolia Home. These shelves were something that I
knew that I wanted here. I knew I wanted some open floating shelves here so that
I could decorate, store a few things, and just change out my decor right here with
the seasons. I think this is a great opportunity for easy seasonal
decorating. I didn't quite know what shelves I was going to go with. I knew I
wanted at least three and when I checked the Magnolia website this was there and
I thought it was just perfect. It was the right size, it's beautiful, and I really
really love these. I think it complements the piece of furniture that I got really
well too. I'm excited about both of these pieces that basically make up my
little coffee nook. So now all I have to do is get everything out and decorate.
I actually took a little break to make my daily wellness drink. I've been
drinking Armra Colostrum a little over a month now and I've really been
enjoying incorporating it into my daily habits, my daily wellness routine. I have
heard about Armra for a very long time. I feel like I've seen it on Instagram, on
YouTube, everywhere. I don't know what took me so long to try it but really
happy that I did. Colostrum is a great supplement to take every single day and
this is a fantastic brand. Right now I'm having the vine watermelon. I actually
have the travel packs of these which I love especially during the summertime
because you can just pop these in your purse and they taste really great. This
is great with just water which is how I have it. They also have an unflavored
version which is the one that I typically drink and use because you can
put this in anything. I like to put it in my iced coffee, I'll put it in my juice.
They were kind enough to sponsor this video and offer us some savings. If you
use my code BRITTANY you'll get 15% off your order. I'll put a link in the
description and a QR code right here on the screen so you can check them out. But I
need to go put the mice in this and then we are going to get back to decorating.
I thought I would just give you a quick little tour and walkthrough of the
coffee bar. On the top shelf here I just have a couple of picture frames that I
found at HomeGoods. On the left is a piece of art that I made on Canva and
printed out and then of course a picture of sweet Theo right there in the
middle. The vases that I used on the coffee bar today I believe came in a set
from Amazon. I've had them for a while now so I will link them below if they're
still available. The florals and them are from Michaels I believe. The second
shelf I just have some faux books right there and then a couple of glass coffee
mugs. They used to be my great aunts. I love those and my pour over. I also like
a French press coffee. I didn't put my French press here but I might in the
future. And then on this shelf I just have another floral arrangement and then
in these McKenzie Childs canisters I put things that I use daily. So my Armoura
that I've been using. I actually put my vitamin D and K in this one so that I
don't forget to take it each day. And then this one I plan to decant the rice
coffee that I put in here but it was a new bag that's unopened so I just left
the bag in it for now. And then here on the coffee bar I do have my K cups. Right
now I have Newman's own but I switch those up from time to time. And then I
just went ahead and put some sugar well Stevia packets in here. The reason I did
the packets is just in case I have someone come over or a delivery driver
or something wanted to go coffee they can easily grab packets. Which leads me
to this drawer which is basically my to-go drawer. I've got cups in here to-go
cups for anyone that wants to take a coffee to go. I also like to keep a
little bit of instant espresso in here just to have just in case. Before I show
you the other drawers I guess I should mention my coffee maker. It is a Ninja
coffee maker. It takes K cups. You can also use ground coffee in it. You can
make iced coffee so I really like it. This particular model does have a
frother on this side so that's pretty handy but I usually drink my coffee
black. And then down here in this drawer I decided to put my McKenzie child mug
collection. I do plan to switch this out with the different seasons and holidays.
I think it'll be really fun to put seasonal coffee mugs in this drawer but
right now I just put my collection in here because it's really pretty and it
makes me really happy. I love all the different colors. And then finally the
bottom drawer just has some of my supplements. Again my Armoura. I have some
electrolytes. I have some calm supplements. I've got emergency back
there. And then these are just a multivitamin and some things that I
reach for when maybe I'm feeling under the weather or something. And then I also
have my Rise in here. The Rise that's already decanted. I will do my best to
link anything and everything that I can. Alright so that is it for this video. I
just wanted to say a quick thank you again for joining me today decorating
with me. I hope that you enjoyed it and I will see you again very soon in the next
one. Until I do, take care and happy decorating!
