President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday establishing the President’s Military Spouse Commission, which would advise the president on policies that affect military families and recommend ways to improve their quality of life. Trump told reporters that talks with Iran are still on and that he will give Iran “last chance before decapitation” to come to a deal. This comes after the President called off, what he described as the biggest strikes on Iran since World War II, over the weekend.
Three major wildfires burning around Spokane have scorched over 8,000 acres and remain zero percent contained. Officials say the fast-moving fires have forced around 60,000 people to evacuate, destroyed hundreds of homes and businesses, and prompted a request for federal assistance.
A federal lawsuit against a former immigration attorney with offices in Washington State and Illinois is growing. Dozens of former clients have now joined the case, accusing the attorney and her law firm of misleading vulnerable immigrants and seeking to preserve millions of dollars in assets.
