Exploring Mysterious Beitou

So I went back to Taiwan for about two weeks to visit my friends and also celebrating Chinese New Year. I first took the flight from Philadelphia to San Francisco that was about five hours flight and from San Francisco to Taipei that was about 11 hours so in total 16 hours. It was a long trip and when I arrived in the Taoyuan International Airport I took the train from the airport to Taipei. It was very convenient and it was clean and after I arrived I went to Yonghe breakfast shop for breakfast. I ordered sesame flatbread with eggs and rice milk and a basket of soup dumplings. They were very delicious and it only cost about 147 NTD, less than five years dollar. The food was delicious and it was very affordable. After a great breakfast I went to Beitou for the hot spring. Beitou was a town built in the Japanese period for the hot spring. Long Night's Hot Spring. It was one of the oldest hot springs in Beitou and there was a monument standing there saying the Japanese emperor's son passed by here. This bathhouse is a traditional Japanese bathhouse. It is male and female separated and you cannot wear any clothes. After the long flights and the traveling I really enjoyed the hot spring. The hot spring just washed away all my tiredness, all my fatigue and I feel so much rejuvenated after the hot spring. I feel refreshed and reborn and I have the energy to continue my whole day. I didn't feel any jet actually I feel like the hot spring really saved my life after traveling. Actually in the hot spring place I was talking to other people there. They came from Japan and I learned a little bit Japanese before so I can still communicate with them even though my Japanese is very rusty and I asked where they are from and we start talking. If Japanese came to that place that means that's very nice place. So I really recommend going there going to the Long Night's Hot Spring. After the hot spring I went to the Beitou Hot Spring Museum. When you enter the museum you have to take off your shoes and they have closets for the shoes and they'll give you a number and when you come back you just give them the number and take away your shoes and I feel this is very interesting. When it was built it was the largest bath house in the East Asia and it was built in the Japanese period and if you go there you can still see the hot spring place. In the past after the hot spring people would go upstairs they have a place you can cool yourself down with the air the fresh air outside and you can enjoy the view and the performance. In the hot spring place in the past you can also order food there so it's like a very nice place to relax and also socialize with others and the building is well preserved. You can still see the tiles on the floor and also to to a Japanese restaurant for lunch. I had fried tofu and noodles and like barbecue meat. It was very delicious.
