Trump Holds Press Conference at Mar-a-Lago; Harris Speaks From Ellipse; Steve Bannon Released

One week out from Election Day, former President Donald Trump delivered what his campaign calls “remarks to the press” at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on Tuesday. He will head to Pennsylvania later in the day for a Building America’s Future event in Drexel and a rally in Allentown.

Vice President Kamala Harris will deliver her campaign’s “closing argument” Tuesday from the Ellipse near the White House, where Trump spoke ahead of the Jan. 6 Capitol breach. Harris’s campaign said her speech is designed to lay out her vision for the future.

Longtime Donald Trump ally Steve Bannon was released from prison early Tuesday, after serving a four-month sentence for defying a subpoena from the now-defunct House Jan. 6 Committee. Bannon returned to his podcast and online show, saying he was focused on helping Trump win the presidential election.
