STEWART AIRPORT – Travelers using New York Stewart International Airport will have another nonstop option for reaching the South Carolina coast next year, with Breeze Airways adding service between Stewart and Myrtle Beach International Airport.
The airline announced Tuesday that it is adding 11 nonstop routes at Myrtle Beach, including flights to Stewart, with one-way fares starting at $59 for the Newburgh-area route.
The Stewart flights are scheduled to begin May 28, with service on Mondays and Fridays. The introductory fares are subject to restrictions and availability.
The expansion also includes routes to Albany and Buffalo, as well as destinations in New England, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
“This is a huge moment for MYR and the community we serve,” said Judi Olmstead, director of airports at Myrtle Beach International. She said the additions will bring Breeze’s nonstop network at the airport to 25 destinations.
Breeze began serving Myrtle Beach in February 2024 and has more than doubled its seats and flights from the airport since then, officials said. The airline also operates non-daily flights to Florida cities, as does Allegiant, which also offers seasonal non-daily flights to Myrtle Beach.
