ROCK TAVERN- Workers at Amazon’s SWF1 warehouse in Rock Tavern went on an unfair labor practice strike, citing concerns over workplace safety and productivity policies.

Workers say they have repeatedly raised concerns about conveyor belt speeds, crowded aisles, falling packages, and being reassigned to departments without adequate training.  They also allege that managers have failed to address reported safety issues and that workers face unfair productivity write-ups.

“We will not rest until Amazon starts treating us with the dignity every worker deserves,” said Javier Rivera, an SWF1 warehouse worker.

Workers are seeking changes to what they describe as unsafe practices and are calling on Amazon to address their complaints.  They held a picket outside the facility as part of the strike.
