NEWBURGH – A car chase that began in the City of Newburgh on Pierces Road and ended at the Greenbriar Apartments in the Town of Newburgh resulted in the arrest of two people wanted on several felony warrants.

The car chase on Thursday afternoon left Newburgh, went across the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, and then back to Newburgh, where they were apprehended. During the incident, there was an accident involving a State Police vehicle at I-84 and South Plank Road in the Town of Newburgh.
