The Cleveland Browns had a preseason game over the weekend against the Buffalo Bills. Cleveland lost the game against Buffalo by a final score of 31-7. One of the biggest stories of the weekend was Deshaun Watson’s horrible press conference. Watson called out the Browns fanbase and there are many fans who don’t want him to be the starting quarterback over Shedeur Sanders.

Well, Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports reported, “BREAKING: The #Browns are naming Deshaun Watson as their starting QB, per multiple sources. Shedeur Sanders will be the backup.” There is no way that this is a Todd Monken decision. This has to be a decision made by ownership for Watson being the starting quarterback. Monken is obviously a puppet for general manager Andrew Berry and owner Jimmy Haslam.

There are a lot of NFL fans who are stunned about Watson being named the starting quarterback. This is what some of them had to say about it on Twitter:

The Browns are the Browns. Everyone should be fired for this mess. Until there is new ownership in charge, they are going to continue being a mess.
