HARRIS – Dozens of people attended a jobs fair at Garnet Health Medical Center Catskills in Harris in search of employment.
Applicants were connected directly to recruiters for interviews in fields from clinical to non-clinical roles.
Senior recruiter Ann Marie Neville said while nursing nobs were the most sought after, there are several other categories of work available at the hospital.
“Food service, environmental, some of the other support areas that may not necessary be top of the mind when you are thinking about a hospital,” she said.
Some attendees brought resumes and sought immediate employment while others were looking into the future.
