MOUNT VERNON – A traffic stop in Mount Vernon on Thursday, August 6 resulted in the seizure of cocaine, fake Social Security cards and a $29,000 US Treasury check.The State Police Troop K Community Stabilization Unit arrested the driver, Christopher Mulligan, 32, of Brooklyn, and passengers Turone Bason, 31, of Manhattan, and McKeit Christopher, 27, of Mount Vernon.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 71 grams of cocaine, a fraudulent driver’s license, fraudulent Social Security cards, state ID cards and debit cards with various names.
All three men were charged with two felony counts of drug possession, two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
